More Americans Say Businesses Can Refuse Services to Gay Couples Over Religious Objections: PRRI
Forty-six percent of Americans said that wedding-centered businesses should be allowed to decline service to same-sex couples, a five percent increase from last year.
This increase in support for wedding businesses being allowed to refuse service for religious reasons compared to last year was found in multiple surveyed groups.
For example, 45 percent of African Americans support the religious objections versus 36 percent in 2017; Hispanic support went from 26 percent in 2017 to 34 percent in 2018.
Regarding small business refusals to service same-sex couples, the percentage of Americans who believed that small businesses should not be allowed to refuse service declined from 56 percent in 2017 to 49 percent....
Christian based businesses should put a sign on the door stating that the management has the right to refuse service to anybody. This past Sunday at my Baptist Church pastor was still on vacation and a Baptist pastor who is a missionary in Poland and the pastor of Lublin Baptist Church in Lublin, Poland gave the sermon. He provided information about his Baptist Church in Poland. It was very educational.
Dear Penned, No God has not finished with the Jews, whatever you may say or other people who may believe in Replacement Theology. There are Messianic Jews who have placed their full trust in Yeshua Ha‚ÄôMaschiach, Jesus the Messiah, and they are as shocked at the so called ‚ÄúGay Pride‚ÄĚ, as any of us.
The Orthodox Jews also hate it and have threatened violence to disrupt the parades at Tel Aviv and particularly in Jerusalem.
Paul the Apostle made it quite clear that God is going to deal with the Jewish root, as well as the Gentile branches grafted on, in Romans 9 to 11, and he also said that the Gospel was to be preached to the Jew first, and then to the Gentile, and that should be the pattern today.
The Puritans also believed that in the last days, there would be a great harvest amongst the Jewish people, and campaigned for Oliver Cromwell, the Lord Priotector, the one who executed King Charles I, to allow the Jews to return legally to Britain, for the first time since 1290, when king Edward I had expelled them.
"Ripped men in white underwear, pink bunny ears and black bow ties gyrated through the streets of Israel's Tel Aviv on Friday along with drag queens and others to loud trance music for the annual Gay Pride Parade ‚ÄĒ the biggest event of its kind in the region."
Well Christopher, with most areas of life taking a dive and going down the pan, it is most easy for us to get cynical about everything, and not see any bright spark, or even a flicker. We get so used to decline, that we cannot even picture life ever being great again. And being depressed enhances those thoughts a thousand fold.
What a difference it makes to come out into the light and enjoy it once again.
Thanks John, and for the reminder that I should have included that I was speaking very generally, and not directly against the article itself. Yes, I hope it's accurate as well. How great would that be if many really are beginning to change their positions. Hopefully, the rational thinkers, and those who have taken a few moments to step back to take a good look in to see what's really been going on are taking notice. Taking notice of how the sodomites and ultra liberal media have waged an all-out assault on these businesses for litigious reasons and pushing agendas with such force that, hopefully, some are at least becoming disillusioned with their premise of simply wanting to be accepted, assimilated, and loved, and waking up to the fact that they are in all out war against anyone who dares not accept their lifestyle, and their mission being born of hatred, not simple acceptance of diversity as thought.
Hi John, who really knows, but given the climate, hard to believe. I've never trusted polls because they rely upon random citizens to complete a poll, no matter what their personal bias, and the idea is that if enough are polled, 1000, 10k, etc., then betting on the 50/50 concept, and random participants, the whole of a nation is supposedly represented by the few. Utter nonsense and the margins for error are enormous. True numbers would take the polling of many, many millions to get closer to the facts, or required as a part of a census to really get close. As they stand now, I could hang out on a street corner with a clipboard, and pull ten random towns people to poll them on one simple question: Do you believe there is a Creator? 5/no's and 5/yes', and use it to write a column in the local paper about its citizens being disillusioned and turning to Athiesm, or whatever. Sorry to ramble on here, but polls and statistics, given the very loose science behind them, irritate me because they're often used to mislead, and sway the masses and make up those minds that were on the fence, going with status quo, when that status quo may very well be nothing but fluff. Can you tell I don't care for polls and stats?? ūüėä
