Atheist Group Targets Voluntary Student Bible Study

The atheist Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) continues to target the freedom of students to voluntarily meet at school for Bible study. This time it is Indian Creek Middle School near Wintersville, Ohio, where the secularist busy-bodies have demanded that Bobbyjon Bauman, a local clergyman who runs an outreach to young people called the Valley Youth Network, stop conducting a voluntary lunch-time Bible study club for interested students.

In a threatening letter to the superintendent of the Indian Creek School district, FFRF attorney Christopher Line charged that it is “unconstitutional for the district to offer religious leaders access to befriend and proselytize students during the school day on school property. This predatory conduct is inappropriate and should raise many red flags. The district cannot allow its schools to be used as recruiting grounds for churches during the school day.”

I understand that they hate God, even though they claim not to even believe in Him. There's just no other logical reason for their rage, or making it their life's mission to erase Him from the minds of the next generation.
Christianity, I would think, would be a positive thing, in their minds, and in todays world, regardless of the Christian God or not. Christianity teaches morality, ethics, clean living, forgiveness, kindness, love, and every other good and positive thing. Seems to me that they would welcome the values that Christianity teaches, and would respond in a positive way, but it seems they would rather have kids continue to be sucked in by the evils of this world, and instead, learn to hate, steal, kill, and destroy themselves through one means or another. They make no sense to me, and certainly don't have anyone's best interest in mind.
Excellent points Chris! And the fact they are so upset with the Christian values you noted, says so much.

Thanks for the comment!

"My argument against God was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line."

"Thus in the very act of trying to prove that God did not exist--in other words, that the whole of reality was senseless--I found I was forced to assume that one part of reality--namely my idea of justice--was full of sense. Consequently atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning." (C.S. Lewis : Mere Christianity)

GOD calls atheism "foolishness" in Psalm 14 and 53.
Who are we to argue with GOD?

Tell the Catholic Church and their false doctrines to stuff it? Do you think it is right to support false teaching ? Do you thing it is right to take the glory that should be for God alone and use it to worship Mary?

Interview: Atheist Richard Dawkins hates any type of god.

Dr. Jason Lisle, founder of Biblical Science Institute, had an exclusive interview with famous atheist Richard Dawkins.

Dr. Lisle said, Thank you for being willing
to accept my invitation. Now I've read all your books and I've come to the conclusion that you hate someone that doesn't even exist, would you say that's an accurate representation" "Yes I would, and there is every reason to hate God." Said Dawkins, "Because this silly little god of yours, commanded genocide in the Old Testament."

Dr. Lisle asked, "Since you don't believe in universal moral absolutes, why is it wrong to commit genocide? And why are you mad at God, who you don't believe exists, who commanded genocide?"

"Because it's evil" "Why is it evil?" "Because it hurts others" "Why is it wrong to hurt others?" Richard Dawkins responded by swearing and mocking Christians.

At publishing time, Richard Dawkins said that teaching creationism is intellectual child abuse.

Atheism is religious. It is impossible to be free from religion. Nonsense. All schools are religious, and the majority are teaching the established religion of Statism, even homeschools and so-called Christian schools.

Mikey Weinstein’s satanic cult is who this organization is about. He knows school districts are weasels and grab their skirts and run when they here “ law suits “ . If a student lawyers up and says he/ hers First admendment rights are violated, then the students will win.

How sad that this minority group has been given such power, thanks to the ACLU powerhouse of attorneys at their disposal.
