Probably the most recognizable words of Holy Scripture, but are they true history? This is the question that Dr. Del Tackett, the creator of The Truth Project, seeks to answer in the film Is Genesis History?

In this feature length documentary film, Dr. Tackett seeks to expose the fact that many are just not asking the right questions today. It is assumed that the real issue is one of the Bible vs Science or that the opposing viewpoints operate with a different data set, but this film wonderfully exposes the real foundational question, “What is the true history of the Earth?”

History cannot be deduced by science, only explained by it.

What is the lens that you view the data through? What paradigm drives your conclusions? Should we use the data to reconstruct the history or does the history explain the data? This seems to be the real question.

Using stunning 4K cinematography, Dr. Tackett travels the globe interviewing experts who examine the geologic record, DNA, biology, archaeology, theology, and even astronomy to answer for the modern mind, the much debated question is Genesis true history or is it just a myth? The film is an engaging and thought-provoking journey into the inner workings of God’s magnificent handiwork and will be a challenge to any that is tempted to discard Genesis as history.

New Ark Encounter Segment! To provide additional insight, we filmed a new segment with Dr. Del Tackett touring the Ark Encounter with three college students. Our hope is this new footage will give some perspective on how to approach these issues with the millennial generation.
