Despite Climate Alarmism, Global Sea Levels Fell Last Year
Despite an apparent increase in climate hysteria among global-warming theorists outraged by President Donald Trump, global sea levels have actually been declining since before Trump took office, according to data compiled by NASA and posted on its website. The official data, compiled from satellite observations, shows that levels dropped from a variation of about 87.5 millimeters to under 85 millimeters over the last two years.

What the development means over the long term, if anything, remains unclear, though it would tend to contradict the dire predictions of an accelerating rise in sea levels. But the establishment press, which shrieks about every real and imagined occurrence that might potentially lend credence to the increasingly discredited man-made global-warming theory, has said literally nothing so far about the recent drop in sea levels.

The news, first reported on the Ice Age Now ...

People lust for worldly approval as that is fashion of the world-
A Vanity Fair
With petty pretty lying woman with ice cold heart

Mt5:25Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
-cost of supporting lie of global warming exorbitant!
-Lust for love of world?rebuked!
28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
--
Icy lies of fiery women-
--
23For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: 24To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

Mike, you should have make it easier, ]]Founder of Weather Channel Calls Gobal Climate Change A Hoax .

Rodney, God used many instruments to carry out his work. The final flameout? Angels will be a necessary cause for frying the earth. I always emphasized my interest in soil and water pollution. Air pollution has already a long way down the road of being controlled.

The whole 'climate change' hoax should be evident to most. As you pointed out, God has already said summer, winter, springtime and harvest will continue. Yes, reading the BIBLE and believing what it says is all that is necessary - amen and amen.
Hey Sis. Ladybug,

Thanks for the link. Science can only draw inferences based on what the scientists know. There are simply too many unknowns for them to predict something as complex as global warming. I wonder how many of them adjusted their computer models based on the discovery of this volcano chain. I suspect few, if any. Yet, we're supposed to place our confidence in folks who can't predict the weather two days from now. No thanks.

However... Our God has NEVER been wrong! Hallelujah, Praise the Lord!

It seems to me that God is the one who destroyed the world with water (not man), and it’ll be God who destroys it with fire. That sounds like the kind of climate change we ought to be concerned about. I suppose that there will be those who are prepared for it, and those who aint. I guess it’d be good for those of us who realize what’s in store to be telling folks about Jesus. I also suppose that God is in charge of times and the seasons. I reckon He won't destroy this earth a moment sooner or a moment later than He purposes. I doubt that God will ask the opinion of any scientists when He decides to destroy the world. He won't need congressional approval. He won't even have to get a bunch of Baptists to form a committee. I figure He'll just act unilaterally - kinda like He always does.

I expect that until that point, summer, winter, springtime and harvest will continue – mostly because that’s what He said. The regularity of the change of seasons will bring comfort and hope to God's children, knowing He is a faithful, unchangeable Savior. But it will be a snare to the unbeliever - just like it said in that scripture you posted. Now, I'm sure that this aint highfalutin enough for some folks, but it seems to me just a whole lot simpler to read the Bible and believe what it says.

Rodney, I think the article ]]https://www.csmonitor.com/Environment/2017/0808/How-climate-change-became-a-question-of-faith really should be looked over again, as the one on ]]Climate Change an Evangelical Call To Action---"The same love for God and neighbor that compels us to preach salvation through Jesus Christ, protect the unborn, preserve the family and the sanctity of marriage, and take the whole Gospel to a hurting world, also compels us to recognize that human-induced climate change is a serious Christian issue requiring action now."

Apparently their heart is in the right place, anyway. "Global Warming," could very well be precursor to the Tribulation? I'm not worried about the Paris Accords, as Mike isn't, but for different reason, because the USA will live up to what they were suppose to have done, so the problem with CO2 (if there is one )lies with India and China, or volcanoes for that matter.

Not really sure your point, Jim. The 2 Peter passage is speaking against those who doubt the promise of the Lord's coming. But the passage I posted shows God's faithfulness in keeping his promises.

Maybe there's something I failed to read into the text.

Climate alarmism-Analogy-"war alarmism" to"uphold the constitution" or "free slaves"?
During the Civil War, Lincoln continuously circumvented the law &in many cases suspended the Constitution altogether. In doing so, Lincoln denied the rights of citizens he was sworn to protect. He suspended the writ of Habeas Corpus, closed courts by force, &arrested citizens &elected officials without cause. Lincoln also raised troops without the consent of Congress, closed-down newspapers whose writers displayed any dissent to U.S. policy.
Lincoln’s troops razed the South &doomed to poverty–generations of Southerners for many years to come.
General Sherman‘s “March to the Sea” was nothing more than a marauding rampage filled with robbery, rape, &murder.
These men were less soldiers on a military mission-
&more common thugs on a crime spree.
Northern armies brought war to women, children, & privately held property as a matter of official policy (rather than as so-called “collateral damage”).
Or
Grant-1 yr into war had HIS slave forcefully removed-
while Lee freed HIS slaves before the war-
showing it a states' rights war

Not to worry, Jim, I have no worry about the Paris Accords. They will be as useful as any other designs have been to save the planet from that which does not exist. You should be more concerned about what is put in the drinking water to make it "healthy" for you. Perhaps you should go to the next jet-setted conference on air quality control, and remind them about drinking water.

Rodney K., thanks for looking:

2 Peter 3: 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.---ESV

What agents God will use beside angels it is hard to say, but in any event God would expect man to take care of His Creation, especially Christians. One can easily say inaction by Christians would be condemned, as man has already brought extinction to many of God's creatures, e.g., the Passenger Pigeon, and the Carolina Parakeet -- just to name two.

Well, Mike note the above. Man is to show some responsibility for the world. One thing of course you won't have to worry about the Paris Accords because they're going to be complied with, without the Federal government's help.

I also attacked Obama's desire to over-control of America's waters. People in Detroit, wished at least the state paid more attention to water quality.

Air pollution in this country probably will be taken care of by some other than the Federal government

If nations around the globe want to seek to learn from us on what we’re doing to reduce our CO2 footprint, we’re going to share that with them, and that’s something that should occur and will occur in the future. We will reach out and reciprocate with nations that seek to achieve that....

This is from a more neutral source in the "New German" this is from an "hysterical" woman scientist? The problem of general pollution has to be kept an eye on.

Amanda Paulson wrote:
“Climate science has been very deliberately framed as an alternate religion,” says Dr. Hayhoe, who also directs Texas Tech’s Climate Science Center and is an Evangelical who has engaged deeply with faith communities around the issue of climate science. “Very cleverly, this issue of climate change has been framed as one of false prophets versus true believers.”

I'm still against pollution. The Paris Accords will be observed by the United States if not officially.

Man has always wanted to prove himself to be something, as if he could make himself out to be equal to or just a little under God with His knowledge and wisdom. It never worked, from Babel to today. Can these people with their fallable computers with their fallable programming and fallable understandings really predict the future? Meteorologists struggle to get tomorrow's weather right using a ton of computers and programs. To put it all into perspective, not one of us or any of them could stand up to a questioning like Job received when God appeared in the whirlwind.

The problem with these people is that their god is under attack. The earth is all they have. Because they don't believe in the real, true, and living God who upholds all things through the word of His power, they miss the backstory. Meanwhile, anyone who dares question the veracity of their devotional is branded a heretic and, in the eyes of some of them, worthy of imprisionment and even death.

Somehow, all this doesn't sound like "science" to me, but idol worship. While all Creation/the Creature groans waiting for the revealing of the sons of God, that doesn't make it a god itself. While man was placed as the federal head over Creation in the beginning, and thus all Creation fell when the boss did, that doe

Mörner also explained that the UN panel chose its authors based on loyalty, not credentials. And despite warning the IPCC about errors, they mostly ignored his advice. But the anti-science attitude came back to haunt them eventually. The Climategate mega-scandal that exposed leading alarmists trying to deceive the public was “wonderful,” Mörner exclaimed, calling it an “iceberg of shame” and adding that there was still much to be discovered.

Now, the scientific community must begin to restore the credibility of science. “The first thing which has to come now is the restoration of scientific values,” he argued, explaining that the climate campaign had “autocratically” tried to impose beliefs on the public that were not based on science. Still, he expressed confidence that the truth would eventually win out."
If-
And that if looks more likely-
If skeptics examine things point by point-
The next generation will enjoy laughing at the maroons who spent billions on sloppy cases like this.

"Speaking of the chapter on sea-level he was supposed to review, Mörner said it was of “very poor quality.” And the hysteria surrounding sea-level rises, like most of the IPCC scaremongering, “is not grounded in reality,” he added."

The problem with climate scientists and the carnival barker,Al Gore is credibility. If you speak to a meteorologist, they do not sight climate studies because any changes in climate is minor in the scope of climate trends over 200 years. Look at the old farmers almanac and they're pretty spot on. It looks like August will be cooler for south east US. Just hoping for a warming trend throughout the panhandle of Texas with no rain in September , the cotton crop looks promising.
