What's Worse for America: Trump or Progressives?
Several evangelical leaders, along with, as of Monday morning, more than 18,000 signatories, have declared that Trump's campaign has empowered the bigoted elements of American society.

"We believe the candidacy of Donald J. Trump has given voice to a movement that affirms racist elements in white culture ‚ÄĒ both explicit and implicit," reads the petition in part.

Notable signatories to the petition include author and preacher Tony Campolo, Red Letter Christians co-founder Shane Claiborne, Progressive National Baptist Convention General Secretary Timothy Tee Boddie, Rachel Held Evans, the Rev. Brian D. McLaren, and the Rev. Dr. Ron Sider of Evangelicals for Social Action.

A couple days earlier in late September, the American Association of Evangelicals released a statement calling on liberal Christians to cease supporting what it describes as "the anti-Christian Progressive political movement ...

My responsibility is to obey His Word, evangelize the lost, and to pursue holiness. We are to love our God wholeheartedly. Taking time to pinpoint blame is just a means to deflect from my own shortcomings. Great comment

Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Matthew 7:15-.... comes to mind. We shall know His sheep by their fruit. His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. If we love Him we will keep His commands. All the Laws and the Prophets hang on Love...
Matthew 22:37...
I know I need to work on these things everyday.

I personally know dispensationalists that believe those that are alive will be raptured and rule over mortals during the millennium. They openly claim, they will rule over cities during the 1000 yr reign. Its their flesh that desires their 7 yr Tribulation period to begin. They would give Hamas a nuke if they had to.
Dispensationalists have accused me of wanting to see the khazarian mafia antichrist state destroyed, which isn't the case. I desire these heretics embrace the values of true Christianity, and condemn the actions of the terror state by evangelizing and not encouraging conflict. Israelis should be called to convert, not used for Cannon Fodder. Instead, these faux kritians become spiritual allies with her, and accomplices to her bloodshed. They preach WW3 with a gleam in their eyes

Not a single quote from any pastor or so called evangelical leader that backs your point in this article. Everything is from the writers analysis of what he thinks is true. You gotta stop going to sites for backing your point of view where those who oppose dispensationalism define what is being said and believed. Find a site where a dispensational leader, church, preacher says what you allege. Besides the fact that evangelical leaders have NO voice in the policies implemented by this or any previous administration. In case you have not noticed they have NO voice in the armed services.

Bush has not been president for 8 years now. Current policy is and has been set by BHO

It is getting old penned, you trying to blame those who don't hold your eschatological view for all the evils in this world. It would be like me saying all the a&post mill people support ISIS because they want to see Israel destroyed because they believe the church replaced Israel.

It's a bit of a stretch to call some of those who desire to start a war 'Christian' penned. According to your news source, the list includes Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. All three of these men adhere to false teachings and condone such.

There are true brethren who adhere to a pre-trib view that have NO desire to start a war. Even though I disagree with their view, I have no desire to attack them over it.

May God help us all, for none have complete revelation of truth and all are still a 'work in progress'. As for the goats and wolves, may God give discernment to His elect and protect us from the crazies.

"..believe that Christ will not come again until Israel wipes out its competitors and there is widespread war in the Middle East."

"According to French President Chirac, Bush told him that the Iraq war was needed to bring on the apocalypse"

"Bush believed the time had now come for that battle telling Chirac, "This confrontation is willed by God, who wants to use this conflict to erase his people's enemies before a New Age begins..."

remember it was his father (who had been head of CIA) who announced the new order.

tell that to the Christians of Irq and Syria that remain!

So p., you actually think politicians who for the most part profess nothing of a spiritual nature, who don't have a clue about Ezekiel, are dispies? I might then be tempted to call alqaeda/ISIS amills, for they prefer tilting at symbols they themselves have made up.

Mike Pence and Ryan and the left and McCain and all the other crazies that supplied weapons to ISIS are calling for the great satan Russia narrative.

it is only trump and 200 generals and high brass (along historically with Rand Paul) who stand to eliminate ISIS who is genociding Christians in Syria and WEst and is telling the truth.

for survival of this society we must reject neocon dispensationalism. what fooldhardy reading of ezek 38-39, to stand back with apathy as Libya was destroyed, and demand decade after decade to make rosh their enemy with no look at the facts goes to the level of madmen.

it is today "they say" that our leader is deciding on what they will provoke in Syria.

if the neocons go for world war every single one of us will be affected (to divert from formal criminal charges and the economy they purposefully collapsed).

we have been told by the arms dealer of Libya that it was Clinton's aide that ordered it, stevens found out and went to state dep to try to stop it and then was ambushed..... this is what we should be talking about today.

remember Ambassador Stevens?

remember Benghazi?

Do you really mean that the Creator of all things, the one who said "before Abraham, I was," the one is was, is and is to come,
Opinionated if your gonna quote the word of God, you may want to get it right
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Our Lord is the" I Am" not the I was, you might want to check the last few verses at the back of the book and see the penalties for messing with his infallible word.
Vote Mike Pence.
Praise the Lord

EVERYBODY LOVES A HOLY WAR
by Mark Heard.
Some say that God has approved of their mob
Esteeming their purposes alone
Choosing sides with a definite pride
And taking their cause for His own
Everybody loves a holy war
Draw the line and claim divine assistance
Slay the ones who show the most resistance
Everybody loves a holy war

Many's the man with the iron hand
Supposing his own thoughts to be Divine
He will break any bond-
'cause the other man's always wrong
It's a handy excuse for his crimes

Everybody loves a holy war
Draw the line and claim divine protection
Kill the ones who show the most objection
Everybody loves a holy war

Dissident cries are met with cold eyes
And treatment the devil would get
Righteousness and truth
can be weapons in the hands of fools
While innocents go to their deaths

Everybody loves a holy war
Draw the line and claim divine assistance
Slay the ones who show the most resistance
Everybody loves a holy war

Good for you. If that be so, why do you put words in His mouth He never spoke such as voting is sin? Seems to me that if one professes to love God one should love everything He said and not manipulate it to suit one's own opinions.

Lurker,

Don't be ridiculous.

Of this he spoke to me and I am sure - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

I am a partaker of his flesh and he of mine:
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:15

Believeth thou this, Lurker?

I have tasted the honey from the mouth of the Lord and it is satisfyingly sweet to me.

So I guess we can do away with these words in scripture.
You may as well do away with them if you believe they establish your claim. Transgression of God's law is quite clear. You can't create God's law by reading in between the lines what is not there.

To add to or take away from scripture will send you to perdition just as surely as unrepentant transgression:

Rev 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

If your conscience won't allow you to vote...... don't vote. But to insist voting is sin is a high bar that you can't establish from scripture and your attempts to do so only causes violence to God's word. Not a safe thing to do.
