Missionary to Russia loses anti-evangelism appeal
A Baptist missionary convicted under Russia's new anti-evangelism law and compelled to end his ministry there has lost his first court appeal in Oryol, Russia, but has vowed to continue legally fighting for the cause of religious freedom.

An appeals court judge Sept. 30 upheld the conviction of Donald Ossewaarde on charges of conducting missionary activities in violation of the new law that prohibits evangelizing outside church walls and without a government permit.

"[My attorneys] assured me that this case will play an important role in determining the future of religious freedom in Russia, not just for foreign missionaries, but also for ordinary Russian believers," Ossewaarde updated readers on his webpage. "My attorneys are confident that the law is on our side, and the courts must eventually rule in our favor if any impartial justice can still be found in Russia." ...

A shirtless Putin is clicking his riding boots with glee, " can't wait to fill up the gulags full of tree counters".

The Yarovaya Law says that native Russians can’t evangelize in their own homes. This is an attack on every non- Russian Orthodox Church in Russia- regardless of end times theology. Putin, (with Dugin’s backing) has Patriarch Kirill (another former KGB agent, like Putin himself) in his hip pocket. According to Dugin’s philosophy, the Russian Orthodox Church is key to bringing all the old pieces of the USSR together. Kirill is an Ecumenicalist who believes in the total unity of Church and State. They don’t want their main propaganda machine to have competition. We should not rationalize the actions of Evil Tyrants who are aiming to abuse “Christianity”, and who are persecuting our Russian siblings in Christ.

For the record, I couldn’t care less if Russia is or is not “Gog/Magog”. I do care that their leadership is spreading candy-coated Satanism. Also, we do have issues stateside that should be more widely denounced: americasurvival.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/How-Jones-Serves-Putin-Propaganda-Apparatus.pdf (Don’t agree with the entire site, but this is well referenced)

I'm pretty sure their anti evangelism law has more to do with control than keeping the dispy's out.

problem is Baptists want to run the dispensational line that Russia is the great satan and love to influence military industrial complex decisions. they love to run fiction novels that show Russia destroying everyone (funny the futurists never make a fiction novel about ISIS being funded by west and genociding Christians). and then baptists like to go against presidential candidates for not being antirussia enough while their state dep is threatening that Russian cities are going to be bombed by terrorists and they do bunker drills for 40 million people. meanwhile russ have to ban sodomite parades coming from the west. so... as they prepare for the wore that the neocons want, why would it be a surprise they wouldn't want its missionaries?

now I know that missionaries are cut from a different cloth, and they are there for the right reasons, to share the gospel, which should be available to all.

at the same time, if we cannot as an American church clean up the world order demands in our own places of worship, why would they trust us?

can't be calling for wores all the time and think the world is going to be your friend, insisting falsely that rosh is Russia, and gog/magog.

judging by FRUIT, and that being ISIS and genocide of Christians and communism inside US....
