School for gays opening in September in Georgia

A transgender woman, who identifies as a male, will open a private school for homosexuals and transgenders in Georgia this September.

The "Pride School Atlanta" will teach children K-12 [kindergarten up to 12th grade] and will operate from a space provided by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA).

According to its website, the school aims "to provide LGBTQQIAA [Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Ally, and Asexual] students, families and educators a safe, fun and rigorous learning environment free of homophobia [dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people] and transphobia [intense dislike of or prejudice against transsexual or transgender people] ‚ÄĒa place that honors their identities so they can be themselves, find themselves, and find friends and mentors who can help them navigate the challenges of life and education." ...

Anyone have any input?
I agree with you, Dave.

Great to hear that, brother. I'd ask the question "what is the normal Christian life?" but I still haven't found the answer to that one yet.

The problem of queers pushing their agenda in American public schools is addressed in this commentary: [URL=https://www.probe.org/gay-agenda-in-schools/]]]https://www.probe.org/gay-agenda-in-schools/ (Advancing the Gay Agenda in Schools)[/URL]. It is an interesting and short commentary.

Philemon 10 would seem to make this revision

Paul's incarceration was not in a prison, but in his own rented house in Rome. He was in bonds :but had the freedom to wander about his house, and obviously taught scripture to any who came to hear him

"I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I

"With the soldier that guarded him. It appears from ver. 20 that St. Paul was subjected to the custodia militaris, i.e. that he was fastened by a single chain to a praetorian ,but, as a special favor, granted probably on the good report of the courteous Julius, was allowed to dwell in his own hired house ..."

Gill says same:
"under the care and custody of a soldier, who constantly attended him wherever he went; and which could not be otherwise, seeing he was chained, as in Acts 28:20 and his chain was put on his right hand, and fastened to the left hand of the soldier, Etc. "

I've never heard of moxie. I don't remember drinking it when I lived in New England. Perhaps I did and just don't remember.

Perhaps Timothy witnessed to him, and being pricked by the Holy Spirit went with Timothy to meet Paul and hear more about the Gospel?
CORRECT GS

My reckoning is thus: Timothy was obviously with Paul for some time. Paul's letter to Philemon was from Paul and Timothy, v1.

Paul recognised Timothy as an evangelist.

An evangelist tends to say things like, "Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel of Christ." It is a burden on the soul, the preacher must preach.

Timothy was not under house arrest with Paul. No doubt he would have gone into Rome on a daily basis, and part of that time he would have witnessed to people, or preached in the market.

Onesimus was being pricked by the Spirit, maybe felt so guilty of his crimes (stealing from his master, running away to Rome from Colosse). He happened on Timothy, who witnessed to him, maybe over a period of days. Timothy invited him to Paul's house to hear him preach and teach the word.

At the house, the Holy Ghost did a full work of conviction and regeneration, and brought Onesimus to faith in Jesus Christ.

Congratulations GS, you hit it!

NO VEGEMITE?!?

You can't do that to C-3/0, and poor Dave may very well shrivel to nothing.

Ah, too much fun. What would the Puritans think? Time to get ready for church. We have a men's group that meets an hour before Sunday school to pray. I mustn't be late. God bless you all.

To assist Paul in his ministry, despite the possibility of his capture?
