A Word of Thanks from SermonAudio

We thoroughly enjoy interacting with broadcasters and learning how the Lord is using SermonAudio to impact individuals and churches. This Thanksgiving season, we thought some of the recent comments and stories we have heard might encourage you!

A broadcaster in Arizona shared he was “thrilled” with what SermonAudio accomplishes. He knows our site is a safe place for people to hear sound, Biblical preaching and he recommends it to others regularly.

Another broadcaster from Arkansas first heard about SermonAudio a few years ago at the Expositor’s Conference with Dr. Steve Lawson. Then he ran into another SermonAudio representative at Paul Washer’s True Church conference. His church joined the site shortly after this and has been with us five years.

He told us, “I can’t recommend SermonAudio enough. It has been refreshing to me personally and a blessing to my church. We are a small church, but people with no connection to our church download sermons regularly. We often receive emails expressing appreciation from listeners. It is truly incredible that a small church like ours can have a worldwide ministry. I think the world of SermonAudio. I tell people it is the greatest tool a church can use for the money. Several people have visited and later joined our ministry who found out about us on your site. After listening to a sermon, they realized we were only a few miles away and they began to attend each week. I tell every pastor I know that they should broadcast with SermonAudio. I even tell them if they think their church can’t afford it, they should forego taking their family out for dinner once a month and put that money toward a SermonAudio monthly membership.”

A broadcaster in Pennsylvania reported, “I receive a steady stream of emails from people all over the world who have listened to my messages on SermonAudio. We have people in our church today whose first contact with our church came by listening to a sermon through your website.”

Tony Jones, a missionary to Haiti, who misses the fellowship and sound preaching of his home church as he serves in a Gospel-needy land, recently wrote us, “You guys have been a blessing to this missionary in Haiti. Thanks for the strength you give me through the hearing of the Word.” Please read more about Tony’s ministry here.

Another broadcaster from Pennsylvania mentioned an incredibly encouraging testimony regarding the life-changing impact of God’s Word on our site. They edit and broadcast their sermons on a local radio station. One day a listener heard part of a message on the radio and knew he had to share this message with a deeply troubled friend contemplating suicide. This listener contacted the church to learn how he might get a copy of the message to pass it on to his despairing friend. The pastor pointed him to the SermonAudio website. The listener passed the link on to his friend who listened to it and found great hope to go on living.

SermonAudio can increase your ministry reach in unimaginable ways. Accessing sound preaching all over the globe is only one click away. One brother related, “I wanted to tell you the addition of video to my friend’s site has brought appreciably more visits and sermon downloads. . . .Chinese-speaking people in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia are listening. Perhaps more people listen via each week than those in attendance in the small congregation.”

We pray these stories fill your hearts with thanksgiving and praise to God. Such accounts encourage us as we serve local churches that glorify God through preaching and teaching.

Do you have a story about how God is using to impact others in your church, community or around the world? We would love to hear from you (email us or add a comment below) as we continue to partner together to spread the God’s powerful, transforming Word!

Christopher, heavy sand storms (like in Mission Impossible) are extremely rare. When a strong sand storm does hit, perhaps once a year, you shut all the doors and windows, and clean up after as always. Very little sand gets inside unless the windows are cracked open. The air conditioners will need additional cleaning. We are used to having more dust than in some other places, still cars need to be cleaned only 2x a week. The municipality cleans the streets daily. Most high rises have glass facades that are cleaned every month. God bless.-PP.

Hello PP...I have a very off-topic question for you since you live in Abu Dhabi, and it concerns the crazy sand storms you all have. When one of those storms go through the city, how do you get rid of all the sand it must leave behind? I'm thinking it must leave piles, and remnants everywhere, getting into every nook and crevice, etc.

Brother, it was a blessing to read your tribute of appreciation here, which can echo the experience of many.

May this gracious providence granted to a world-wide English speaking audience (mainly), be understood as a God-given privilege, and may those in charge be committed in prayer to God's kind leading and preservation.

Lie decorator from UK, it's ever so clear of your writting on this post, that your emotions & attitude that comes forth out from your wrtiing. That with due respect you have no clue about what is taught from Reformed Theology. Other than what you have read from some blog sites & books.

Salvation has & will always will be of the Lord alone;Jonah 2:9. Christ is the only true seeker of the fallen sinner, who willn't seek Him ever; Rom 3:10-12. Christ working with in the Eternal Godhead, He will bringforth all of His people to the Father through the Son alone; Jhn6:37-44.

The Father & Christ are quite clear that His sheep will come to Him, for they will hear the voice of the good shepherd & all that come to Christ, willn't be plucked out of the Hand of the Father ever!;Jhn 10:26-29

Pelagianism derives its name from Pelagius who lived in the 5th century A.D. and was a teacher in Rome though he was British by birth. It is a heresy dealing with the nature of man. Pelagius, whose family name was Morgan, taught that people had the ability to fulfill the commands of God by exercising the freedom of human will apart from the grace of God. In other words, a person's free will is totally capable of choosing God and/or to do good or bad without the aid of Divine intervention. Pelagianism teaches that man's nature is basically good. Thus it denies original sin, the doctrine that we have inherited a sinful nature from Adam. He said that Adam only hurt himself when he fell, and all of his descendants were not affected by Adam's sin. Pelagius taught that a person is born with the same purity and moral abilities as Adam was when he was first made by God. He taught that people can choose God by the exercise of their free will and rational thought. God's grace, then, is merely an aid to help individuals come to Him. Source-

Beware - There are others here who hold to this same heresy.

Get Real,

Lie Detector believes in Pelagianism, which is serious heresy. I wouldn't say Amen to her comments if I were you. I'm sure you were not aware of that, so I thought I'd just point that out.

One wonders why she still frequents this site, if she finds it so satanic? I know I wouldnt go to a website I found to be blasphemous.

James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

it may be a start to knowing Jesus, such as i first heard about Him in a catholic way, but staying catholic would be a mistake, same thing with this site, there is poison in the pot ...

The Lord has blessed me immeasurably through this ministry. I'm on this site daily and often download sermons to my phone for repeated listening. I need Biblical preaching that is soundly and solidly Scriptural to challenge, convict, disturb, and vex me, that I may be humbly driven to repentance and conformed to being like Christ, my precious Lord and Savior.

Thank you for your faithful ministry at Sermon Audio. I also appreciate being able to access a range of sound teaching from teachers both prominent and less well-known. It has been useful also in my own Bible study to access sermons on specific parts of the Bible.
