Pope Francis Doesn’t Understand How to Alleviate Poverty
Pope Francis embodies sanctity but comes trailing clouds of sanctimony. With a convert’s indiscriminate zeal, he embraces ideas impeccably fashionable, demonstrably false, and deeply reactionary. They would devastate the poor on whose behalf he purports to speak — if his policy prescriptions were not as implausible as his social diagnoses are shrill.

Supporters of Francis have bought newspaper and broadcast advertisements to disseminate some of his woolly sentiments that have the intellectual tone of fortune cookies. One example: “People occasionally forgive, but nature never does.” The Vatican’s majesty does not disguise the vacuity of this. Is Francis intimating that environmental damage is irreversible? He neglects what technology has accomplished regarding London’s air (see Page 1 of Dickens’s Bleak House) and other matters. ...

Pied Piper Francis , has been enamored with communists, tyrants and murderous generalmisinos for all his adult life. We do not need to be shocked but alarmed that this man will turn away from the unborn, the imprisoned man or woman by Castro or cuddle up to our own Socialist president. The reason he does is because he knows of the power the Catholic Church once had on this world and wants to bring it back.

How the Vatican can alleviate poverty?
By redistribution of wealth.

"So exactly how much is the Vatican worth? It's hard to say. The Catholic Church has a history of opacity about its finances, something Pell says is slowly changing.
And much of its assets are near impossible to value because they will never be sold off, such as its gold-laden palatial church property and priceless works of art by the likes of Michelangelo and Raphael.
It also owns a global network of churches and religious buildings, many of which contain precious historical treasures, serving the world's 1.2 billion Catholics.
What we do know is that Vatican Bank, officially titled the Institute for the Works of Religion, manages €5.9bn ($7.3bn, £4.64bn) of assets on behalf of its 17,400 customers. And it manages €700m of equity which it owns. Another titbit to emerge is that it keeps gold reserves worth over $20m with the US Federal Reserve."

As Jesus said to the rich man:
"If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."

Perhaps one reason this article is so good, the one that SA has in this thread, is because it is by George Will, Pulitzer prize-winning syndicated columnist. so again I would say the article is worth reading.

All things will come to the end, just not like the Dominionist believe,

so he's a communist. they want to impoverish the west.... fulfilling that right now. once the wealth brought down, consolidated in the hands of a few, move people to cities, reestablish bounderiess (not national), regional (hence the open borders) and control every aspect of life. global communism with fascist gov and elements of feudalism. their documents are quite clear. he's obviously endorsing it. ICLEI coming into town near you. don't worry, your pastor and elders will not show up to local meetings and suggest that ICLEI not take over the zoning of your neighborhood, the gospel is just about a prayer, don't matter if you are enslaved, right? how is the silent protestant arm any better I wonder?

Ok, thanks Mourner. I had already responded in the bacon thread which will also serve as the response to your last comment below. I always think it's better to be honest with what I might perceive instead of imagining things and brooding, so that's what I felt. Thanks for clarifying. I'm still feeling the repercussions from the ten commandments thread conversations, so maybe I'm feeling a bit defensive. I appreciate and value your insight, opinions, and instruction. I hope you have a good day today, and will speak to you later if you want.

@ Christopher this is thread hopping but I couldn't find the 10 commandment thread either. That why I posted where I thought you might stop by.

I deleted from all your own words for space. I can't follow my own posts. I wasn't in attack mode, I am a woman and what you perceive as attack mode is self defense when threatened, whether actual or imagined threat. But I am a women under God because he keeps me there.

If you do not confront the errors you recognize in another and stand firm not fearing their disapproval but God's, yet in a kind and humble manner, then you are supporting the error you know is there. I notice even here women run to the shelter of whoever will agree with them. Now that is only as good as the other agrees with God. This time I really do have to go.

How in the world am I supporting religious pluralism, by the way?

Before I spend a single second responding to this, I need to know where I said, "that's the way God meant it to be". This isn't what I recall from my original comment. I could be wrong but I'm always very careful not to assume I know the mind of God. I'll try to find the thread in the meantime, but remembering what I do, I'm not sure how my comment got so twisted and contorted. I believe all I said was that my view on the states erasing all things God is defiance as opposed to separation because it was never an issue until very recently.
I'm not sure if you're in attack mode or instruct mode here. Which is it?
Please show me where I said that in relation to the comment pieces you quoted Thanks.

.. enforcement of the separation of church and state .. defiance.. choosing sides.. taking a stand against God.
So as you see it? God is on one side and the State the other? If so, then it would seem for the State to enforce any law, it would of necessity be against God's and for antichrist's. You then state: "That is the way God meant it to be."

Yet it seems apparent that you and many others do not want sharia, or Rome to be the Church. It appear that the state is willing to enforce either of these, 'what ever works'. Yet you can support religious pluralism, as it is now bolstered by the professing church (one of many different beliefs) which is the 'reason' for the present state of affairs. If a nation does not define 'Their' true religion in a Confession of Faith, the most dominant, wealthy, people populated religion will assume the position of 'the' Church.

That is what both Rome and Islam are trying to do. Presently there is no test or criteria for office bearing in the nation. Lewd and wicked men will support whoever is strong (numbers) and rich (protection) enough to maintain their power. Absolute power corrupts.. History is replete of examples of an allegiance between antichristian leaders and tyranica
