The U.S. government has test results from an ISIS attack in Hasakah, Syria, from two weeks ago that confirm the terror group used a mustard agent as a weapon, multiple U.S. intelligence and military officials told CNN on Friday.
The U.S. is continuing to investigate an attack this week in northern Iraq that also has indications of a similar chemical agent being used.
Officials stress the amount of chemical agent is thought to be small and the concentration low. But it is yet another sign that ISIS is in possession of mustard agent and is using it in battle....
Honestly pennned I'm hearing you and know the pain involved, Our man made system of social order and out and out lying politicians, economic failure that's.coming to us all,it's flawed the whole lot, But we're still left with having to defend our old,our children and women, true? This side of heaven man will always be at war and as you know it's only going to increase in ferocity due to the times we are I believe in as in the end of days and the coming of our Lord, You not uninformed so I'm not trying to preach to you, what are we to do? Hindsight isn't an exact science. God Bless your obvious compassion
Dave, if you read carefully, I am begging for mercy for the ones sent there. Their voices are not being heard. No one will listen. Neocons are drumming it up again, smart families are now abouts just sayin no, who wants to have to share a shower with transgendered or sodomites anyway? Reality check needs to come to the church real quick.
pennned, sorry mate but in most countries you would be locked up for your public opinions, yet you rubbish the system that allows you such freedoms( compared to most.countries) Do you really think that we shouldn't have gone after Saddam? Or bin laden? How about a bit of respect for those that got off their backsides and tried to do good. Yeah I know the rant do many hurt, so many damaged. What was the alternative? Let someone outright attack Your country and do nothing? Yes governments the world over use soldiers as canon fodder, but to assume every soldiers motivations weren't well intentioned really is an insult to them. I thank the Lord for where I live and you should too. I wonder how vocal we would be in say Egypt or Syria, Libya?
I do want to address a couple things from previous ones
Here is a list of "neocons" who supported the war against Saddam Hussein.
John Kerry, John Edwards, Dick Gephardt, Bob Graham, Howard Dean, Tom Daschle, Joe Biden, Bill&Hillary Clinton, Madeleine Albright,Sandy Berger, Nancy Pelosi, Jay Rockerfeller, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Algore, etc.
The next one I will blame on myself for not communicating why I said what I stated apparently in a post that you continually reference. When I stated that I did not have time to look up your links, it was because I didn't. I left my house at or before 6 in the morning and didn't get home from work until after 9:30 at night. My schedule at work is much less pressing (only about 11.5-12 hours from departure from home to return) but getting ready to move is both taxing and time consuming. You may not have noticed, but on a not that long ago post of yours, I advised you not only did I follow all your links, I followed the links within the links of the articles you cited.
Unprofitable Servant wrote: You know, pennned, our.... will defend your freedoms
they will defend YOUR freedoms and then when they return with gulf war syndrome, pass it to their wife and children, suffer under your agonizing threads from war makers like the RAND corporation to legitimize it. unable to look at real photos for yourself you must go to your neocon mind controlling masters to appease your conscience. After Agent Orange and the denials, why would you still defend this process?? YOU have no sympathy for those who suffer under these policies. I have given you so many links and you tell me you don't have the time. You come to the table uninformed and want to discuss and then ascribe to me the feelings that you think I have based on a lack of information. Are you actually admitting that sadomasochism was being used there? The military will just "sit there for me"? No, they will suffer for YOU and YOUR blindness, its YOUR generation that has called for these wores and sent the younger ones to fight them and when they come back to say they were guarding poppy fields, or that they were training AQ, then they were fighting AQ... you just turn it off and go to your RAND Corporation, why not quote from Planned Parenthood?
Unfortunately American mothers and fathers end up paying the price by mourning their children's deaths.Wars will never stop because money is made from weapons.America does get involved in every war in the middle east and the Balkans because of money.Americans end up paying the price and are lied to .I cant watch another mother weeping for her child anymore.God is a righteous God! Bring justice Lord in all our countrues.May the Spirit of the Lord fall with power.Bless you all!
I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this, but there is a very real company in the southern US who makes bullets dipped in pork fat. They make the claim that if a Muslim is shot with one of these, they cannot enter paradise. From what I understand, they sell quite a lot, but only to the ignorant, I would guess. A Caliphate addressed this company and its pork laced bullets because Muslims were concerned, saying that getting hit with or dying from one of these bullet strikes won't keep any Muslim from entering paradise. Just thought this was interesting. Maybe it was even a story that was already on this news board that I don't remember. I just heard about it again during a sermon.

You know, pennned, our American military will defend your freedoms even though you made a snarky remark about patriotism, the kind that motivates them to volunteer to serve. They will fight for your rights even though you disdain them for the actions of a few and make out ISIS terrorists as justified in their barbaric ways. There is a lengthy list of those convicted for their actions at Abu Ghraid, maybe you can show where those making videos of drowning people alive are brought to justice. You may feign concern for our military with Agent Orange, but your real care is to show disdain for American foreign policy so you can state what a sorry country we live in. Yet, despite all that our military will still be there for you because, even though they aren't perfect, that is just what they do.
I have to agree with you, US. I never read anything about what's been done to American men, women, children, or the attrocities being commited abroad at this very moment. Only that some poor, murderous, sodomite, pedophile extremists had pork mixed in their cereal or were subject to some embarassment, some of which I don't condone, by the way. I never hear any disgust when childrens heads are hung on poles, 9 years olds are raped, or Christian women are beaten to death by enraged extremist mobs, etc. Sympathy for the perpetrators, but seeming lack of fury for the terrible things they do as the victims go without mention
So mass murder, beheading, rape, and oppression pale in comparison to the wrongful actions of embarrassing a few captured enemy combatants. In fact it is on the same scale as what PP is doing to murdered babies. Yeah, right.
"A 1999 literature review conducted by the Rand Corporation stated: "No evidence is documented in the literature of cancer or any other negative health effect related to the radiation received from exposure to depleted or natural uranium, whether inhaled or ingested, even at very high doses,"and a RAND report authored by the U.S. Defense department undersecretary charged with evaluating DU hazards considered the debate to be more political than scientific."
It matters not to me that you think you are more informed on these issues, you visit websites that have an agenda and distort the facts for political purposes.
We live in a secular society run by imperfect individuals who do things with which we would never agree. People needlessly suffer due to it. But you also benefit immensely from living here. If you ask me things will continue to deteriorate. Hope you can find that just and moral society here on earth where you can live, my sights are set on that heavenly one.
looking at another photo, dogs being used on another naked fellow... ah, more democracy.
until our neocon brothers are willing to do a simple type into google and then images "depleted uranium" do they know what a double u md is? or research gulf wore syndrome or google and see images of the torhture pictures for themselves, they come empty handed to the discussion.
ah, there's another, right here in google images.... they made them in total nakedness pile on top of each other and took photos.
you all really want to be associated with that??? I've gotta move on now, this is in the same category for me as watching videos of women in planned parenthood selling fetal parts. who can justify these things?

Do you have any idea how little oil we get from Iraq? A pittance compared to the cost of war for it. Find a link, you are quite capable of it.

Let us say the Kurds who were gassed by Saddam weren't his people. Was therefore Saddam less than a mass murderer? In what way does the use of WMD's against Kurds make it such that there were no WMD's? "There were no WMD's" is the story that was told. Remember the mindless mantra "Bush lied, people died"? There was indeed propaganda about.

Penned is right

the mass violence there as a result, the millions of graves that followed, the depleted uranium,
how about the torture pictures?
...like the female soldier standing over the naked prisoner who is in fetal position to hide his nakedness rolling on the ground as he is being pulled by a dog leash.
makes me want to eat apple pie and fly a flag and march around the house singing, "onward Christian soldiers" -- because that's what all those middle easterners need, they need a collapsing empire with "democracy" that sells fetal body parts (was going on during B era folks) to help them out.... I just sit here scratching my head going, why are they all coming here now? don't they like our "democracy" over there, the once great cities in ruins? -- ah, just give me some more whip cream and turn on the tv.
