Man hangs up on Pope twice thinking he is an impostor
An Italian man hung up the phone on Pope Francis twice thinking he was being pranked, but later apologised to him for his error, the Vatican newspaper, l’Osservatore Romano, has reported.

The pontiff, who often contacts strangers who write to him or whose problems he hears about, called Franco Rabuffi on Monday to comfort him as he was sick.

Maybe the Christians who order pizza and answer the door to the delivery guy who you say "... looked so cute in that uniform"
which is an odd statement coming from a professing Christian man (but I digress)
are witnessing to said fellow.
Maybe you could clue us into the verse which states that pizza is unclean. Since you can ,seemingly, read minds (as to know the thoughts and motives of men)maybe you don't even have to look up the Scripture which supports your accusation as you seem to have a creative theological bent anyway.
And,in case you missed it,there are many on here who have witnessed to those who are enslaved to the RCC and the not-so-cute -in- his -costume faux pa.
The faux pa offering a pizza would,at least,be a plus. That's an idea! So all is not lost,if one is going to hocus pocus "Christ" into a wafer, make it a pizza slice instead.

Well, he thought correctly. We should think likely of any man claiming to be the vicar of Christ.

So, if you get a call and find that it is the pope, speak the truth in love. If he listens then you've saved a sinner. If he does not listen then tell him that he is a scriptural impostor and hang up.

The same self righteous of SAs news board will run to the door to when the priests of pepperoni arrive, and after a peace offering of thanksgiving for 100% cheese and lard will gleefully devour it in front of the TV never thinking twice about sharing the gospel.

Thats why here at Jesuit Troll HQ, we planned to have Pope Francis deliver for Pizza Hut when he comes to America. However, our studies found closed minded Baptists would succumb to catatonic paralysis and even coma without the willpower to abandon the sacred dish for a few moments.

Shame, he looked so cute in that uniform

I have to say, I would be tempted to hang up, since if I knew it was from Satan's Emissary, but probably,
]]The Roman Road

Romans 3:10
As it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one."
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Romans 10:13
For "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."---]]NASB

Telling the above to His Unholiness in Italian, would be better idea.

So are you telling us that you are one of them self-righteous people posting here on SermonAudio
meaning you really didn't explain yourself, it would be nice/respectful maybe even edifying if you did, and your post just took a shot at others
Michael, I agree with your thought. I have always wondered how someone can read my heart and then proclaim I am being self righteous or tooting my own horn, and things like that. What carl h. is doing is playing God and saying he is able to discern the intentions of our heart.

But, I agree with TB and would witness to him, then ask him if he had any questions and if none, then hang up.

2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Franco was correct the first two times-the faux pa is an imposter.
And I agree with Michael in asking for wisdom and compassion on the lost who "would call us up".
I know that there have been many "priests" and nuns who have escaped the RCC and been made free in Christ. I just wonder if there have ever been any faux pas that have as well. I'm guessing that it is probably unlikely as they usually physically die in that position. What a testimony that they might have if that were the case though (genuine conversion).

I like your post
may God help us to have His wisdom and especially His deep compassion on the lost who "call on us" like the next JW or Mormon (let's include Muslims too) who approach us in their false religion

and especially the Power and boldness of the Holy Spirit to gently see them CONVICTED of their sin and their need of Christ

Hmmmmm? I wonder if your post was Providence to prime me for a visit by some Mormons or JWs today????
If it be so, may God help me to bring Him glory, but especially those who Satan's prostyletes are calling on today

I see your point Theodore, but I really wouldn't have much else to say to one who presumes to take such a name of blasphemy as "Holy Father"!

Matthew 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

A bit rude to hang up if he was actually repentant.
