Rabbi compares President Obama to Haman

Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, chief rabbi of Efrat, on Saturday night compared US President Barack Obama to Haman and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Mordechai.

Speaking at the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, the American-born Riskin said that he could not understand what was going through Obama’s mind.

“The president of the United States is lashing out at Israel just like Haman lashed out at the Jews,” he said.

“I’m not making a political statement,” he clarified, “I’m making a Jewish statement.” ...

This means those who are incorporated into the Body of Jesus Christ; those who have circumcised hearts. Those whom God has chosen to represent Jesus Christ. Those who have been infused with the life of Christ. Those who say “Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahweh. The man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, (Psalm 65:4). Those who have no confidence in the flesh (the first birth). Those Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:13). Those who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: (Col 1:13).
We are in tribulation. However, there are greater “tribulations” awaiting us. We are in the plan God designed for his glory.

Hello sister,

Good to see you posting again.

The verses I quoted was in response to Jim | Lincoln comment 4/1/15 3:00 PM........

"Yes, Penny, after the Tribulation, the only people left will be believers in Christ, this means all the Jews. There might be also some gentiles left after the Tribulation as well and they'll be all believers also."

Question...... Do you now have full time access to a computer? A year ago when you stopped posting, Christopher and I were emailing and at that time he was willing to give you a spare computer he had but we never saw you post again till now.

many great comments. The covenant of Christ is not a promise of escape from tribulation. "you will have tribulation".

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. Ex24:8

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:24

Jim, everything you just wrote is conjecture. its not times that are going to save you anyway. it borders on heresy to say some will be saved at/after Christ's return per macarthur.

but concerning your salvation, in what do you trust that will bring you eternal life? Christ's redemption comes through the covenant, no?

H.G. Borstill, to the contrary, Listen to the sermons and read the comments to, In the following two sermons Dr. Rugh used a book by a Reformed theologian to compare Dispensational and Covenantal hermeneutics

Actually there are two more sermons after the first two I mentioned which will elaborate even further on the problems that Reformed theology has.

Yes, Penny, after the Tribulation, the only people left will be believers in Christ, this means all the Jews. There might be also some gentiles left after the Tribulation as well and they'll be all believers also.

I know many, many Jews that do accept Jesus. I know many, many Christians who accept Jesus.
I cannot find any support in scripture where the entire ethnic group of Jews, after the flesh, will be saved.
I am a Christian, a Jew by adoption (John 1:13). Does this mean my children are Christians? Neither will all the children of Abraham, a former pagan idolator, be part of the Israel Paul speaks of in Romans 9 and 10) Paul was grieved that many of his kinsmen, after the flesh, were mistaken as he once was.
Was Esau a child of promise, or just Jacob? Ask the apostle Paul.
Remember this, Abraham was called before his name was changed. It is the same with us. We are first called out of our natural state of viewing things relative to spirituality.
In the resurrection, will those who died in the wilderness arise to a resurrection to life?

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ ( Cor 10:2-4). I wish we'd get off the "Jew" thing and witness to sinners. Know no man after the flesh.

[/QUOTE]If president Obama reminds the Rabbi of Haman, who does the apostle Paul (Saul) remind him of? Or even Isaiah?
Well the Rabbi like many has chosen a favorite portion scripture; supposedly to win the battle; but lose the war. The Law and the purposes of God run from Genesis to the book of The Revelation that Yahweh, himself, Moses, the prophets, the psalmist, and gave to John personally. If Y’shua delivered the Jews from the hands of Haman, then the “rabbi” should turn to the Deliverer, the one who sits enthroned. The weapons of their warfare are not carnal. Never will be
The “rabbi” needs to go to Jesus, “King of the Jews.”
Also, the gospel needs to go out to those, Christians so-called, sitting in the pews who think they are the Israel of God with uncircumcised hearts. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: (Romans 9:6). I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan (Rev. 2:9). They rejected their deliverer, and still do so.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death (Prov 8:36). Keep in mind that his applies to every man regardless of their ethnicity. Out of every nation and tongue, God has and is carving out a people for Himself. Read Psalm 65:4.

25 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in;
26 and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
27 "AND THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."
28 From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;
29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.---

Also recommended is a thorough study from Genesis to The Revelation to find out what constitutes true Israel. It was always the heart (mind) that God wanted; an inward circumcision.

Besides all the good points Spurgeon had he had at least two bad ones, He smoked in excess (well any apparently was too much) and he wasn't a dispensationalist. Jer 6:13,14 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

I found Rabbi Riskin's historical comparison interesting regarding the Peace agreement prior to WWII and the peace agreement in process

I have read of the times of the Gentiles
being fulfilled Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

and Rom.11:25 'until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.'

and Rev 11:1,2 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Jim, God showed us His plan for the salvation of the Jews, and that is the Great Commission. If you were serious about your burden for them you would be taking the gospel to them and enduring your ensuing persecution. However, that would be the blind leading the blind, seeing as the kingdom you promote is the Rothschild kingdom, not the eternal one.

I see there was a sermon posed as a question on why the Jews didn't accept Jesus, many actually did, the early church the majority of the church were former Jews.
