Graham: America's ‘Culture of Death’ Stems From a 'Sinful, Godless Worldview That Rejects Christ’

Reverend Franklin Graham, son of world renowned evangelical preacher Billy Graham, said that America is increasingly embracing a “culture of death” that echoes what has occurred in Europe, and which stems from a “sinful, godless worldview that rejects Christ.”

Well mod. Beta..my post on the largest mass ever thread was completely on topic.
And it was zapped.
Are we now censored on here concerning the religion of Rome?
Very telling if that be the case....

Some posts were removed that would have been left alone if they had refrained from personal attack or insult. Others were so far off topic that they did not belong on the thread. I am not having a bad day, but this thread was out of control. Get it back on topic and refrain from personal attacks and your posts will remain untouched. Thank you.
Well Moderator Beta; if you are not having a bad day, then you should seriously consider getting a new job. There is literally no one who would agree with your assessment. I read one of the posts that was tagged by someone else and there was literally no one who would have been offended and it was right on target with the article. The mere fact that you went down a list and did one after the other means something is truly amiss.

Ladybug, of course you are correct. But, there is nothing we can do except complain to SA management. I actually have the founders email, so perhaps I will, but knowing me, probably not.

Let me do it this way. Moderator Beta, would you please show the founder, I think his name is Steven Lee, but can't remember, our thoughts and concerns and what you did and let him decide. Also, next time, close the thread and then no one is offended.

I hope you'll grant me permission to state this, if comments are to be on topic at all times, then 99.9 % of what's posted on all these threads needs to be removed.

Mike,
Well let me give you some 'friendly' words also...I don't take advice from one who I perceive to be a part of the problem.
Good day!

Frank,
Thank you.I have been on this site for quite sometime.
It is my observation, without naming names since that is considered a no-no on here.
That a handful of sacarstic and emotional individuals have gotten out of hand and grown quite brazen in their attacks on others who challenge their blatherings.
Hardly ever any scripture given to buttress their airy fairy opinions, just lots of high drama emotionalism...
"Even a fool is thought wise when he opens not his mouth."
You have a good afternoon.
I have a friendly suggestion, MS. When you post a complaint, try to make sure you aren't inadvertently giving good examples of the problems you see in others.

That is why they have the report abuse buttons. Clearly that was not the case today. I have been and can be very divisive and caustic, but in all the years I have posted, today was the only day where what I posted was deleted.

I asked them to email me and let me know how I broke the rules; we shall see if they do.

Perhaps you can read it and let me know if it warranted being removed.
Thanks.
I just read it and all I can say is unbelievable. I'm glad you pointed me to it because I now am convinced that there was no rhyme or reason for this to occur. At first there was some doubt, but not anymore. Lastly, I am going to start reading much more quickly.

Shame on SA for offending true brothers and sisters in Christ and for the most part needlessly. And here I thought giving opinions was part of responding to news articles. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Ladybug, I agree with your broad brush thought, but they should also realize that when they do that they are passing judgment on true brothers and sisters in
Christ. So that is no excuse.

it does appear to be using a broad brush to deal with a more minute problem. In any case, may the Lord continue to strengthen His people.
I don't care to waste any more time speculating the particulars

MS- I agree with Frank!

Perhaps it would be best to close all commentary down. Since comments do not go into moderation before they post, it leaves the door wide open for the very thing we see happening here.
Then again, it may be best to do as Dorcas has chosen - leave and let those who mock and falsely accuse have free reign.
I agree with you, although you realize your comment has nothing to do with any article. I always thought that if an individual was bothered by a comment then that individual could complain, but it was up to that individual; hence the report abuse button. Over the years, I have only asked for one comment to be removed and that was when .....R said something that was against my Lord and Savior. I am okay for the moment, but it wouldn't take much for me to drop out of this forum for good.

But until I do, I will speak in whatever manner the Lord leads me and if it bothers someone, then so be it. I think that Moderator Beta is simply having a bad day and I forgive them for offending me.

MS, there is absolutely no reason for doing what SA has done and I hope you don't take it personal. I enjoy your posts, I enjoy it when you are direct and I especially enjoy reading your thoughts.
