Biology course mocks Christ, compares creationism to magic

A biology presentation compared creationism to magic in a class at Arizona State University (ASU).

According to a photo obtained by Campus Reform, a lecture on “Evolution vs. Creationism” began with a photo that showed a monkey gradually transforming into a man that read “Genetics. Adaptation. Natural Selection.” On the opposite side, the slide had an image of a cartoon smiling Jesus zapping lightning bolts to create a man. A speech bubble above the Jesus said, “MAGIC!”

According to a student in the Biology 100 class, who wished to remain anonymous, “the actual presentation itself, beyond that slide, didn’t really discuss creationism.” ...

Hi Frank, to be honest, I have no idea what you're talking about. Personally, I think you're very articulate and say pretty much everything in a decent, non insulting, non combative way. As for saying things better, I cheat...I just use alot of descriptive adjectives, etc, so I don't sound too boring...ha-ha.

Hey Frank, one thing I like about you is your interest in pure facts that can't be disputed and searching deeper into things to work your points around. Well, maybe that's the only think I like...ha-ha (joke). When it comes to evolution, I like to expose the intricacies of life which really show how ludicrous this bogus "theory" of evolution is. The same goes for Roman Catholic doctrine where you have often gone to places that others just haven't researched, like particulars from the various councils, etc.
Anyway, the facts speak for themselves and a closed mind is a dangerous thing.
Thanks Chris, you and I approach RC and evolution the same way. Both are manmade and both are abominations. But, you tend to say it clearer than I do. And you are usually much kinder than I am, but I am getting better.

True Chris!, "Don't give me the facts! --I know what I think!" as one wag has put it. Something we need to pass along to some visiting RCers for example.

I agree brother. To me, for one to attempt to fit evolution in the Bible, they must trust mans word over Gods, for they would be interpreting scripture with the presupposition that evolution is an established fact.

Yes, brother, I have always said that if satan can convince mankind that evolution is true, then he can convince them of literally anything; and I mean anything. Yes, something from nothing makes absolutely no sense. Or if it was magic, who performed the magic if nothing or no one existed.

No,our triune God was there and He said "let there be" and it was so.

But GS, I hope you realize that the popes have said "it is okay to teach evolution, just don't leave God out of it". Theistic evolution is a worse heresy than the other evolution.

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Without faith man is a fool Psalm 14 and 53 refers.
Note also:-
Eph 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, IN THE VANITY OF THEIR MIND,
18 Having the UNDERSTANDING DARKENED, being ALIENATED from the life of God through the IGNORANCE that is in them, because of the BLINDNESS of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Note:- V17 "vanity of their mind" = The Greek word here for vanity can mean useless or depraved.

Thus these poor biology teachers and students have a very real problem with their mind. They cannot see the truth!

(There are upwards of 10,000 to 50,000 independent nerve cells in every cubic millimeter of cerebral cortex- 10 to 15 billion altogether; each nerve cell is able to receive simultaneous information from thousands of cells, integrating and then funneling this new information to many other cells; consequently, the number of permutations and combinations of circuitry and sequences becomes astronomical.) There are in the human body 600 muscles, 1,000 miles of blood vessels, and 350 arteries important enough to name. The skin spread out, would cover 16 square feet. It has 1,500,000 sweat glands which, spread out on one surface, would occupy 10,000 square feet and cover five city lots, 20x100 feet. The lungs are composed of 700 million cells, all of which we use in breathing, equal to a flat surface of 2,000 feet, which would cover a city lot. In 70 years the heart beats 2,500,000,000 times and lifts 500,000 tons of blood ... The nervous system, controlled by the brain, has 3,000,000,000,000 nerve cells, 9,200,000,000 of which are in the cortex of the brain alone. In the blood are 30,000,000 white corpuscles and 180 trillion red ones. It is easy to believe that the very hairs of our head are numbered- about 250,000.

No, they are the magic show.

Evolution...ingenious. What a great way to be able to float through life; knowing there will never be any repercussions for ones actions. We're born, live, and turn to dust...period. What a great comfort knowing you can do anything, say anything, murder at will, rape when you feel like it, steal for fun, and and act like a bafoon because you came from apes which a boiling puddle of toxic goo created and then told how to evolve. Look at what evolution and the banning of God has done to society so far. Things are sure looking good out there...
