Baby captured smiling in the womb by ultrasound

Little bundle of joy Leo David Hargreaves could just be the cheeriest baby in the country, according to his parents.

Not only does the five month-old smile all the time, he’s been smiling since before he was born.

A 4D ultrasound scan, taken when Leo’s mother, Amy Cregg, was 31 weeks’ pregnant, clearly shows him grinning from ear-to-ear.

This is how the State false church operates - the members take care of one another through their tithes that their leaders then distribute as they see fit, for they are "the vicar of Christ."

Let us look at what you are advocating apart from this story. Why is it someone else's (can we say American taxpayers) responsibility to pay for YOUR (not you obviously but the family with the newborn) pregnancy? Why are you advocating NO personal responsibility? The government (who has NO money of their own, so it should read working Americans)who should pay for the choices you make and you are not responsible??? How do you line that one up with the Bible?
This type of thinking is exactly why ACA will NEVER live up to the first letter in its acronym. If you neighbors house burns down through their leaving a candle burning while they were away, do you think you should be forced to pay for it to be rebuilt?

When lack of funding starts costing people treatment (this is not if but when because it will happen) will you still sing the praises of the system who basic plan will be don't get sick and if you do die quickly (as you love to quote).

There are many things the government (via OUR money) is funding that they should not, healthcare is one of them.
Again, look at current government healthcare (medicare, Medicaid and vets)and tell me you still have confidence in Obamacare.

excerpt from, the Affordable Care Act finally makes healthcare affordable and accessible for women.
From the link:

"During those two months, Huculak-Kimmel rented a condo and a car to travel back and forth to the hospital, spending another $30,000 to live"

Must have been a nice condo.

"She is adamant that if she'd been told the pregnancy was high risk or if she didn't have travel insurance she wouldn't have gone on the trip."

My wife's doctor told her to stay within 50 miles of home while pregnant. He was old fashioned enough to know there is always risk traveling long distance while pregnant. And why does she think someone should have told her not to travel without travel insurance? Isn't the obvious obvious enough?

Fact: Before ACA, pre-natal care wasn't normal women's care. Some 87% of insurance plans on the individual market did not offer maternity or labour and delivery as part of their coverage package.

Women have been going into debt, declaring bankruptcy, ruining their lives; all to give birth.

How sad...sorry to read that, Ashley.

As for abortion itself, I believe if the measures I mentioned were enforced, there would be far fewer murders. Such a strange thing. When a woman is pregnant and showing, people will celebrate, feel the movement, tell family and friends, listen to heartbeats, and view ultrasounds, etc. Yet, at the same time, none of those same people feel a thing while babys are brutally murdered each day, as if they are blobs of nothing. Like many other terrible things, abortion has become a oart of daily life, and so much so that society doesn't comprehend the brutality of it all or even view it as murder.

Although they were God's chosen people, how many of them were actually saved?
Also I was under the impression from reading SA posts that there are only two types of people alive today: the reprobate and the Calvinist.
Are you saying that many are called, few are chosen, but only a few of those chosen are actually saved?

Your impression is incorrect. You know full well it is unbiblical to call your self a Calvinist.

Has thou not read?

And they sung a new song saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation....

According to many, this child is already a vile reprobate with nothing but hell fire awaiting it, unless of course it's one of the elect few. That's nothing to smile about.
It is always advisable to take God's part, seeing as "the chief end of man is to glorify God". If men perish, God is glorified in his justice. If men are saved, God is glorified for his grace.

Some, because their mind becomes confused, begin to entertain harsh thoughts about God, and instead of repenting of such, and asking him to enlighten them better, decide to adopt a more humanistic form of theology, which thing agrees better with their sinful nature, and makes God out to be all loving, who wishes to save the entire world and would do so, if only the sinners would accept him as their Saviour. This God gives them freedom to accept or reject him, and thus this God is acceptable to all men, a good size for boxing and keeping on the mantel shelf.

But if men would stick with the biblical doctrines of grace, they would never get caught up with such nonsense.

Only the # of surgical abortions are falling. Abortions are as numerous as ever and rising due to the use of abortifacients such as the morning after pill, i.u.d. and others (Obamacare will increase their use).

As far as abortions by "evangelicals" I have a great problem with members in my church telling young people not to have babies. To me this is giving a green light to both fornication and abortion. Scripture plainly says in no uncertain terms to avoid fornication (immoralities in all forms) which if adhered to would greatly reduce the number of "evangelical" abortions.

Finally I greatly agree with Christopher000 from R.I. on these abortion requirements. I would add that the seal/signature of the state governor and the president should be added along with the presiding doctor as approval. This would make it clear to all of the participants (mother, father, doctor, nurses/assistants, and government) that they clearly understand that they are participating in state assisted genocide.

"Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts" (Rev 9:21).
