Exposure to cell phone towers alters brain function in alarming ways, causing a lack of concentration, irritability, difficulty sleeping and lack of appetite. That's the conclusion of a new study just published by the British Medical Journal.(1)
The study, authored by Professor Enrique A Navarro, concluded that the severity of such symptoms directly correlated to cell tower exposure levels. In other words, the closer a person lives to a cell tower, the greater the severity of their symptoms. This was true regardless of race, income level and other demographics....

Maybe there are still intelligent people in the USA after all, what with the refusal to sign up. In any case, do you mean there won't be any more extensions...any more extensions...any more extensions?
No, humor. however, I have to admit I drink a lot of coffee

A lot of nonsense over nothing, but if you're worried about such things, read the article, it will tell you how to protect yourself. If a person is nutty enough to climb a cell-phone tower, he's asking for a sunburn from the inside out.

"For centuries life was a Hellish struggle to survive, now it isn't and life has found other ways to make us miserable using the very devices we have invented toescape that misery."
That was classic, I am going to put it in my quote file.
I also just saw a very good documentary on the wifi house meters which had some shocking info in it. I avoid using wifi but it is almost impossible in a city to avoid being bombarded by these waves of different kinds. I am moving out of the country but these cell phone towers are everywhere even in 3rd world latin american country cities now too, so I will be looking at country areas in them instead. I think these things are clearly damaging to human health. Microwaves are another thing I never use. I don't allow myself to be tormented about it but I do make choices when I can, and physically moving is an important choice which I am doing for other reasons though.
Anything that makes life easier or more convenient is bad for you, life is supposed to be hard, miserable and inconvenient and anything that gets in the way brings more pain and suffering.
Every second of pleasure must be paid for by years of pain.
For centuries life was a Hellish struggle to survive, now it isn't and life has found other ways to make us miserable using the very devices we have invented toescape that misery.
Nat, good they figured out the cause, but those docs'll tell them its all genetic and have them surgically remove their body parts when they are perfectly healthy! certainly a market, a surgery available to 50% of the population, because we are so advanced that way. fatalism has taken the day. natural consequence of Darwin and his nectar radiation. thermography helps women find issues much of the time, and what's great about it is that it is not nuclear and doesn't spread cancer. but for some it is a virtual worship of radiation, that being the one and only cure.... can't admit it would cause it, its like a mind trick, or one of those pictures that depending on how you look at it it shows a different image, well those were popular years ago.. its like that, radiation is supposed to be the scourge of the earth but our medical system is based off it, go figure. radiation is science and science is radiation and everything else is snake oil, something to that effect.

get real, I was going to post, ]]Fact Sheet--Cell Phone Towers and Cell Phones: Questions and Answers About Safety (PDF). Oh, and I posted my first message with my tablet. Oh, Doc Ozzie when talking about medicine, probably too far of the mark, and he was much more sympathetic to the SA's offering than the PDF above or me for that matter. The one from the state of Connecticut and Oz both considered talking on a cell phone while driving more dangerous than radiation problems.
Yes, UPS and Neil have good comments. I would add for another I would suggest you make a hat out of tinfoil and cover your head with that, it will also stop aliens from influencing your mind. By the way, Conn. article recommends you don't climb up one of these cell phone towers and snuggle up close to the radiating elements, that warm sensation you are getting is the same sensation as something cooking in a microwave oven.

I think people are so addicted to their phones in america that if there were definitive proof about harmful radiation we still would refuse to believe it!

If you follow the link where they break down the research, you find more than one study found conflicting results and no evidence of the alleged damage. Radio waves are in the air regardless of whether you have a tower capturing them or not. They have also had to retract claims that holding phone to ear causes cancer. This is all junk science. But you can believe the doomsday sayers if you wish.
It is a sign of cultural decline to superstitiously blame immorality on material causes like this: Cum Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc.
Consider KFI, a 640kHz broadcaster in S. Calif., with a transmitter so powerful (50kW), it can be tuned in Down Under. So why can't AM radio be blamed instead?
I'm not saying RF energy *cannot* adversely affect the brain; I'm just saying there's no way to categorically prove it, for there are *many* potential causes in our environment which cannot be exhaustively listed. But hey, if you want to wear a Tinfoil Hat or live in a Faraday Cage, I won't try to stop you.
the industry is more important than the individual, therefore trying to argue this is mute. the agenda for society is more important than the individual, and the need for people to serve the one world system more important than individuality, health, relationship with God and family, for this unified, technical new age..... but besides all that, the few with the money and knowledge will make sure they put up shields for better sleeping. Many are already doing so. There is also a town, somewhere back east, I'll have to look for link, that is free of this due to telescopes, and people are moving there to regain their health.
I hear these divices are especially dangerous to people with right-wing political opinions! :-7 I guess we won't be seeing you on SA anymore--no telling what deadly radiation is coming from your conputer!
The website linked has some good info from time to time, but you have to get through the hype. Have fun trying to find a place without electromagnetic signals (garage doors, TV, radio, cell, etc).
