Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Family Received Welfare
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was on welfare, sponsored by tax payers. Tsarnaev, now dead, is suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon last week.

"Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned," reports the Boston Herald.

"State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter. The state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services said those benefits ended in 2012 when the couple stopped meeting income eligibility limits. Russell Tsarnaev’s attorney has claimed Katherine — who had converted to Islam — was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide while Tsarnaev stayed at home. ...

It really concerns me when i hear people say don't judge. That is so silly because Paul clearly warned the Church to beware of false teachers that were also in the midst of them teaching false doctrine and they were warned to inspect their fruit..does a good tree produce bad fruit..we are also told by Jesus to beware of wolves in sheep clothing ..so we are warned about these wolves and so"we are told by Paul to inspect the fruit " and leave final Judgement to God.

Christopher000:

You're welcome and just a thought on your comment regarding judging. Judging is a very broad term. In life we must judge. We judge every day from what to eat to what shoes we will wear. In many ways it is essential to our survival. Now, in an instance where a sin has been clearly committed against you or another a sort of Godly rage can be stirred up within us. We tend to make a judgement as to whether the act was right or wrong. We are not the ultimate judges, as this is God's place, but from scripture God has revealed to us what is wrong and what is right. Also, I think in the aftermath of traumatic events our words as the people of God should be full of truth, encouragement, and as the Apostle Paul said in Col 4:5-6 "Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."

I have to agree with Mike and Barry here. The word "could" ought to have been used rather than the word "would" here.

John, I was just thinking about you; wondering why you and some others have been so quiet. I was wondering if you all went off on vacation together somewhere.
Is it the headaches? Still praying about those hoping they will be gone for good soon.
I'm still around stirring things up in your absense, so don't worry...I'll keep the pot swirling.
Alas, I never have time nor money for a vacation, Christopher.

And I am hopeful that these incessant headaches have come to a close, as I'm feeling much better tonight. Thank you for your brotherly concern and prayers, and to anyone else who has prayed for me.

Ah yes, keep the pot swirling. Sometimes it takes a little catalyst to get things moving. I am convinced there are more folks who look on instead of posting themselves. Come on guys and gals, exercise your freedom and make your point. If you are wrong, there's always someone here to put you straight.

There has to be justice in the world. If he is guilty, off with his head! And I would like to think a good Baptist would explain to him the gospel before he perished, lest he perish eternally also. But even then, repentance is by the grace of God only, and God does not have to grant him the opportunity to repent.

LR...I like your comment. To be clear, I was not judging, and I try very hard, all day, every day, not to judge because it is a weak spot. I was worse than everyone I have ever known; all put together, so I try not to be hypocritical. Seperating the person from the sin is a difficult thing but I'm trying. Say someone here had a daughter who was brutally raped and killed...today. The parent reaches out to the forum and says, "I'm outraged and can't believe that another human could ever be capable of such depravity...I don't know how to go on". Then, in response, forum members, one by one, pop in to say, basically, "hey...you're a sinner too, buddy", and another one even says, "you would have done the same thing".
My point is that rather than judging, I was expressing my utter amazement, especially since Boston is my back yard. I never said I wish hell upon them, and wasn't judging, but rather, astonished at the utter hatred.
Thanks for your comment.

Continued from my last comment:

1 Cor 6:9-11 "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

What happened that tragic day was abominable and we do have a right to be angry about it. We just need to remind ourselves that our anger should be directed at the sin of these men, not the men themselves. They too are in need of regeneration, a new birth, new hearts, just as many of us once were or still are.

Let us be in prayer for not just the victims and their loved ones, but also those (or the remaining suspect) who were behind the bombing, and still have hope. They all have never dying souls.

"Ecc. 7:29 See, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes."

Mark 7:21-23
"For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person."

These single moniker posters  How 'bout introduce yourself, say something non-controversial, take off your shoes, get comfortable...then feel free to let loose with the most asinine comment you can come up with (you know, like the rest of us do ). Far more dignified

What are you all saying exactly...shame on me for expressing outrage for the crimes these two brothers committed, because I'm no better? I can guarantee that if either had a child or loved one killed, critically wounded, or had their legs sawed off on site, the posts would read much differently. I think it's incredible when I see anyone inferring that I'm being some sort of hypocrite when expressing my outrage over the senseless loss of life because I am also a sinner as well. So then, not really a big deal then? How dare I be angry then?
The comment below yours was a swipe against the "T" (total depravity) of TULIP by someone from the freewill camp. This poster is likely saying that since he/she can choose not to bomb innocent people without any intervention from God, he can also chose to repent and believe the gospel without God. No need to take it personal.

The human heart is deceitful above all things and desparately wicked. And so were you before you were in Christ Jesus- some people hide the evil better than others. Add in the element of slavery to a demon false god - we battle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. I fear that this is just signs of the beginning of a bigger far more in your face jihad that will mark the end times as a time more violent and blood thirsty than any other preceding time.

This was out a couple of days ago already. He received welfare, yet drove a Mercedes, his family had been on welfare as well. Here you have a guy who hated everything about America yet had no problem taking advantage of everything it had to offer him. Such hypocrisy. Not unlike their women being beaten or stoned for looking at or walking with a man who isn't a relative, or sleeping with another, etc, yet they can rape women and young girls without repurcussion because it's always the womans fault in some way.
A small convenience store near me is owned by a guy named "Sam". Sam is a nice guy and we chat when I stop by, but Sam is from Iran and is Muslim. I can't help but wonder everytime I leave if he really hates me but just puts on a front. I can't help but wonder if Sam would rather I was dead because I don't share his faith. Setting those pressure cooker bombs near people, without prejudice, without caring if there were children or babies nearby, was pure hatred.
They both went back to school the next day and also hit the gym; chatting with their friends about the horror. They were so proud of themselves and never considered that they would be identified.

Wow, he stayed home while his wife worked 80 hours per week? I have more of a problem with that than him collecting welfare
