Vicar gives Holy Communion to dog ?
The priest gave the Host ‚Äď considered by Christians to represent the body of Jesus Christ ‚Äď to an Alsatian cross called Trapper.

St Peter's Anglican Church in Toronto has since been deluged complaints from Christians all over Canada.

Donald Keith, the dog's owner, said he had taken his pet to the church because he had been told animals were welcome.

He said that because he was newcomer the vicar invited him up in person to receive communion.

Only in Canerder you say? doubt it! It's anywhere where you have men of the cloth married to other men (or at least pretending such foolisness). And what's more? it's coming to a church near you. Yes, you guessed it, it's called abomination and it's very liberal, it says what is wrong is right and visa versa.

Thank you Rick and Neil,

I appreciate your encouragement, and I had felt shame about the situation. I'll have to trust them unto The Lord, along with the emotional hurt I have had about the situation.

May God bless you both!

Sincerely,

Jessica Dawson

At an Anglican/Episcopal Church I attended, we were having a lunch after service. I was sitting with a new member and her children. The woman's little nine year old girl wasn't feeling well and said: "Mommy I'm hot." Then the retired vicar who was present said with a smile on his face: "The ladies do tend to get a little "hot" when I am in the room."
I was horrified that this "Man of God" would not only make a joke that the women in the congregation were "hot" for him, but a nine year old girl!
I had a talk with the then present vicar and he blamed my having been sexually abused as a child: For my being upset over the retired vicar's "joke." I was told to the effect that a mature Christian should be able to handle such a joke! And was told that other people in the hearing of the "joke" didn't have a problem with it. Then the then present vicar's wife who had been a support to me, followed suit in his conclusion. She said that I didn't realize how much this man was loved!

I was humiliated and ostracized and had a concern for the children of the congregation!

What a cheap condesending thing for a church to do to someone. Don't for a minute accept ant false shame they tried to put on you. The shame belongs to them.

"Then the then present vicar's wife who had been a support to me, followed suit in his conclusion."

Jessica, this is very similar to what has happened to us on many occasions: The "Man of God" is always right, regardless of truth or justice. Not even minor reproof seems to enter into such men (Prov. 17:10), nor is the error acknowledged by others, which is worse. This is why I advise keeping your distance from clergymen & their acolytes. We must wait for God to deal with these lawless miscreants.

Only once have I ever seen a church leader publicly repent of wrongdoing. Strange, that repentance should be so rare among those who talk of it so much.

I then contacted the Bishop in Victoria BC, and he seemed sympathetic and said he would look into the matter. But he never got back to me.

I was humiliated and ostracized and had a concern for the children of the congregation!

Doesn't bread and juice cause indigestion in a dog? Give em a steak!

In the Anglican church where the religion of Liberalism is practised anything goes, thus insulting the Lord is part of their liturgy.

We cannot expect these poor reprobates to know and understand what the Bible says and teaches can we?

Ah, gentlemen is ]]The Intention for the Bread & the Cup? I would say not. However, the Anglican Communion is only fit for dogs anyway, since it's not a Christian Church, q.v. (]]English Dissenters) some of who were and are Christian.

I'm a dog, and I'm happy to eat any crumb which falls from the Master's Table. Tis the Bread of Life to me.
