NPR Examines Conservative Christian Movement Shunning Birth Control
NPR's "Morning Edition" on Wednesday reported on a growing conservative Christian movement called Quiverfull, in which married couples do not use any birth control, "believing that God will give them the right number of children." The name of the movement comes from the Bible's Psalm 127, which says, "Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them."
