Dobson editing radio show to avoid 'hate crimes' laws
"Hate crimes" laws were defeated in Congress just a few months ago. Just a few weeks ago, Frank Wright of the National Religious Broadcasters Association warned, "We must be one in Christ to face the days ahead" because "hate crimes" laws would create untold new liability for Christians.
Now comes confirmation from the Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family, one of the largest Christian publishing and broadcasting organizations in the nation, that it has been reviewing, and if necessary editing, its broadcasts to avoid complications with Canadian "hate crimes" laws.
In a statement attributed to Gary Booker, director of global content creation for Focus, the organization confirmed that broadcast standards have a "dynamic nature."

Please explain how James Dobson has ever displayed the Christian life to anyone at anytime. How has anything that James Dobson has ever said or done brought any wayward Christian back to the Lord?
For 30 years James Dobson has infiltrated the Christian church with worldly, pagan psychology and self-esteem philosophy. He has ruined families by appealing primarily to women's emotions and their perceived 'unmet needs'. It has spread like cancer and the results have been devastating.
I have never, EVER, heard James Dobson present the Gospel and I have heard very little from him that could ever be considered even remotely sound Biblical teaching. For the last 15 years or so he has decided that it's his responsibility to 'transform the culture' through laws and legislation.
Any good that James Dobson has ever accomplished is severely overshadowed by the devastating harm he has done. James Dobson is a dangerous, dangerous man and a coward.

Canada's issues with hate crimes, especially as related to the homosexual agenda, is one of the main reasons why the USA must have as secure a northern border as a southern border. The courts are very confused in Canada, which is from the long-term influence of England/UK.
In the meanwhile, we need to simply take our nation back as United States Christians, which includes taking it back from the pagans and the heathens in our society, the reprobate denominations, and perhaps even our own government! Christians built this nation once upon a time, and they can certainly do it again, as it is in desperate need! Our God is an awesome God!!

Other than the CCM pimps, I believe James Dobson has done more harm to Christians, Christain marriages and Christian families than anyone else in the past 25 years.
I have looked again but did not find the verse that says, " Go preach the gospel to all nations unless you might be persecuted."
"Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world... I hope" say those who submit to anti biblical laws. It may be a good business decision, and after all FOTF is a business, but it is a repulsive moral decision for a ministry to bow to any other god but God. Shame, shame, shame.
Crime is an act, a quantifiable entity. "Hate" isn't. "Hate crimes" is an oxymoron. A legal system cannot know what a perpetrator's thoughts were when a crime has been committed, that they may be labeled "hate." And in any case, a properly constituted legal system may only try for acts, not thoughts. A system that penalizes thoughts is itself criminal, and should be held accountable. There must be knowledgeable and honest judges SOMEWHERE.
I wonder since FOF is such a ecumenical "ministry" how many practising homosexuals have become part of their headquarters staff in Colorado Springs, CO coming to them for employment out of the liberal denominations that afirm homosexuals?
