An artist killed herself after aborting her twins when she was eight weeks pregnant, leaving a note saying: "I should never have had an abortion. I see now I would have been a good mum."
Emma Beck was found hanging at her home in Helston, Cornwall, on Feb 1 2007. She was declared dead early the following day - her 31st birthday.
Her suicide note read: "I told everyone I didn't want to do it, even at the hospital. I was frightened, now it is too late. I died when my babies died. I want to be with my babies: they need me, no-one else does."
The inquest at Truro City Hall heard that Miss Beck had split up with her boyfriend, referred to as "Ben" after he "reacted badly" to the pregnancy....
"Botched abortions mean that scores of babies are being born alive and left to die, an official report has revealed.
A total of 66 infants survived NHS termination attempts in one year alone, it emerged.

I've read some Dawkins and I've read some Calvin--two extremes I believe. However, I'd rather be wrong and follow Christ as Calvin teaches. The worst that can happen is annihilation for me. If I follow Dawkin's, on the other hand and I am wrong, I'll spend an eternity in hell.

There are such things as parody-churches, founded and "pastored" by secular folk who attempt to demonstrate the (perceived) absurdity of Christianity and religion by being absurd themselves. Examples include Bob Dobb's Church of the Sub-Genius and The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, to name a few.
Despite the deliberate goofiness of their external messages, these groups are VERY serious in their attempts to ridicule and undermine Christianity and religion in general

Universities don't teach good manners; perhaps the Berkeley Free Speech Movement stopped that.

Isn't it interesting that the very reason they give to legalise abortive murder is exactly what the abortion did to her. Abortions are legal so that the children do not have an adverse effect on the mothers life. She killed herself because the abortion left her traumatised and suicidal.
Will the authorities change the law to protect the mothers from the trauma of abortion? Nope. They are happy baby killers the way they are.

This young ladies problem was living in the United Kingdom of Sodom and Gomorrah, where spiritual and moral declension is in full force.
It is interesting that these two verses are with each other in Scripture
Lev 18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Verse 22 of course records the abomination of sexual perversion. Whereas verse 21 records the sacrifice of babies to an idol. Abortion is the sacrifice of babies to the modern god of Mammon, so that women can return to earning, instead of motherhood.
Jude v7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities."
But the warning example is not proclaimed by the churches.
