Vatican to create more exorcists to tackle 'evil'
The Roman Catholic Church has vowed to "fight the Devil head-on" by training hundreds of priests as exorcists.

Father Gabriele Amorth, 82, the Vatican's Exorcist in Chief, announced the initiative amid the Church's concerns about growing worldwide interest in Satanism and the occult.

According to plans being considered, each bishop would have a group of priests in his diocese who were specially trained in exorcism and on hand to take action against "extreme Godlessness".

you are now resorting to straw man arguments-"Straw man" is one of the best-named fallacies, because it is memorable and vividly illustrates the nature of the fallacy. Imagine a fight in which one of the combatants sets up a man of straw, attacks it, then proclaims victory. All the while, the real opponent stands by untouched.

you can deny all you like-it's getting so old it's now beyond funny. It's actually very sad.....

I can't see too many Christians being led into paganism by your continued wasted efforts.......

Why we are G.G., Christ's Church is the collection of Protestants, q.v., ]]There Is Basic Unity Among Protestants, and we fight the Devil's Church, the Roman Catholic Church. Just wanted to throw this in from Matthew Henry on Matthew 5:22...'By our brother here, we are to understand any person, though ever so much our inferior, as a child, a servant, for we are all made of one blood. He [Christ] tells them, that given opprobrious language to our brother is tongue-murder, calling him, Raca, and, Thou fool. When this is done with mildness and for a good end, to convince others of their vanity and folly, it is not sinful. But when it proceeds from anger and malice within, it is the smoke of that fire which is kindled from hell, and falls under the same character. Thou fool, is a spiteful word, and comes from hatred; looking upon him, not only as mean and not to be honoured, but as vile and not to be loved; "Thou wicked man, thou reprobate.’’ The former speaks a man without sense, this (in scripture language) speaks a man without grace; the more the reproach touches his spiritual condition, the worse it is; the former is a haughty taunting of our brother, this is a malicious censuring and condemning of him, as abandoned of God. Now this is a breach of the sixth commandment; malicious slanders and censures are poison under the tongue, that kills secretly and slowly; bitter words are as arrows that wound suddenly
or as a sword in the bones.'

Do you really want to go there?
It appears calling an individual a brother who is willfully committed to a false religion, one which God Himself condemns in Prophecy by the way, with an accursed false gospel is quite a grievous insult to a born again child of God, and a stumbling block to those who are weak in their faith to boot.

It is kind of like the offense Catholics give saying Catholics, who claim to believe in Jesus Christ, worship the same god (Allah is a damnedable false god btw) as the Muslims.

Again if you want to help tell them how utterly wrong they are and warn them their false belief will take them into the eternal hell. That is of course you might actually care more about Catholic people being saved than you do trying to get those who are heart broken they are on their way to hell to tone things down so you aren't personally uncomfortable.

btw I believe you really need to watch Bullwhip Guy.

....you have been shown where non believers have been referred to as "foolish",but you choose not to accept it.You misunderstood the use of the word "brother" in the context in which it is used in the passage you quoted.

You make a false equation of "brotherhood" between the physical and the spiritual-

you also make false assumptions about me "losing my temper" and saying I was "twisting your words"

that is in fact, untrue- that is what is known as "bearing false witness"

and that's me for tonight.....

GK, I have not back-peddled, GG is a brother, through Adam and Eve, lost in sin. You have called him a fool, you are merely trying to excuse your pride by denying your error and dancing around the fact. I haven't found any scripture that says we should call a lost sinner a 'fool'. How do you justify calling one of God's created beings a fool? I think you are the one avoiding your grievous error. You lost your temper and obviously refuse to see it. I stand by my original post, whether someone is a brother in Christ or a brother through Adam and Eve lost in sin, we still are to have respect and not think more highly of ourselves than we should. I pray for all who believe acting apart from God's Holy Spirit and lashing out at the lost verbally is the way to proclaim the gospel. You may have the last word, I have let this run on too long as it is, God bless.

YOU'RE actually twisting your OWN words from your original stated position-that's why you were asked the question. You quoted a big portion of scripture about not calling your "brother" a fool, but you have now backpeddled from that position after being shown what a "brother" actually is.So don't try that one,if you don't mind

We just need to be absolutely certain what your "position" is...at the minute.....kind of......

it's not "my" gospel,by the way.....

it's THE gospel.

Just because you have been shown to be mistaken, don't be going off on an ad hominem,there.....

GK, I respectfully ask you to please refrain from twisting my words; from my previous post - he, by God's design, is a brother lost in sin [ by God's design, meaning we are all one race, the human race, meaning we are all related because we all come from Adam and Eve, that is what I meant]. GG's teachings are false, and we are to attack those teachings, not the lost person behind them. We must prove the doctrine false, lead the lost one to gospel truth, and pray that God will convict them through His Holy Spirit working with the word. Let me know how many people repent and believe your 'gospel' after you insult them and call them a fool. May God show you His truth through prayer and meditating upon His word.

but you did say that no human should be called a fool......plainly wrong,as it is only specifically prohibited for use against a fellow believer

he has been reached out to for MONTH after MONTH after MONTH.....

he still keeps trying to recruit shiny new Romanists, despite being pulled up by member after member....

if that is not plain foolishness, what is it???Maybe just evil?

Do you believe that we are sinners through Adam's fall, not by God's design?

Do you still believe GG is a "brother" as a practicising fully signed up Roman Catholic,to those who are saved?

GK, I don't recall GG saying there is no God, he believes, but his belief is useless. We should be reaching out to him in love, not name-calling, and telling him about Christ, not telling him he is an idiot because he's lost in sin. And yes, we are all brothers and sisters because we all came from Adam and Eve, some will go to glory, and some to destruction. Here's a wonderful post from Steve Camp's blogspot...Implore sinful men to be reconciled to God, to bow the knee before the holy dread Sovereign of Glory; to tremble at His Word; to repent of their sin crying out for forgiveness that God may grant them saving faith and take away their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Warn them of the wrath to come. Plead with them to not harden their hearts while today is still called today. God is not asking for decisions or looking for converts; God is seeking for true worshippers--disciples that will deny themselves, take up their cross and follow Him. He is seeking to save that which is lost. The Hound of Heaven is on the move--think not your little inventions add one thing to the soul in need of redemption. It is His gospel alone which transforms lives--we are but its stewards. And may we be found faithful! Amen!!!!!

I thought we were sinners by Adam's fall, not by God's design!!!

again-you refuse to answer the question....a brother in Christ does NOT equate in spiritual terms to "fellow human being"

let me remind you of King David's words-

the FOOL hath said in his heart there is no God....

Psalm 14:1; 53:1 and Romans 1:21-22 all speak of those who care not to know God as fools -- Why are they called fools? "...The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom..." (Psalm 111:10; cf. Proverbs 1:7; 9:10; 15:33). To reject the Lord is to reject wisdom and knowledge. By definition, that is foolishness. But again, this is spoken of the unbeliever, not the believer.

the prohibition (Matthew 5:22) is limited to brethren (v 22-24).

We, as sinners saved by grace, are not to call anyone a fool, regardless of the situation or the recipient's heart condition. The argument isn't so much as to who is a brother, but your insulting, abusive language, this is what is truly scripturally wrong. Don't search scripture for loopholes, rather, ask God to search your heart for unacknowledged sin. God bless.
you are sidestepping the question-I put it to you again-why,if in your eyes GG is "my brother" are you not upbrading him as well? The issue IS who is my brother-YOU made it the issue in the first place, and you have been shown to be in error.....

as I said-give me scripture over a commentary any day.And if you call scripture a "loophole",then I think that speaks volumes in itself
