A Church of Scotland minister plans to hold a ceremony to bless the civil partnerships of four same-sex couples, defying traditionalists.
The Rev. Kim Cran, Chapel of Garioch and Blairdaff, told The Scotsman she has been approached by four couples and agreed to perform the ceremonies. Under Scottish law, only registrars can formalize civil partnerships, but some couples like to have a church ceremony as well.
