Speaker: Del Bailey (MD) was born in Ohio but raised ‘by the grace of God’ in Virginia and educated at the University of Virginia and then medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. He had postdoctoral residencies and fellowships at the Medical College of Georgia and the University of Virginia (15 years of training post-high school). For the last 23 years he has been in private practice in Kingsport, TN, in gastroenterology (digestive diseases). He is blessed by his godly wife, Debby, and four children as well as 6 grandchildren (soon to be 8). He is a ruling elder at Westminster PCA in Kingsport, TN. He has special interests in apologetics and ethics and is an adjunct professor at Greenville Theological Seminary, where he taught a summer intensive on biblical medical ethics in August 2010. He also is course director for the Biblical Worldview Student Conference, which is held annually at Milligan College and provides intensive training to young men and women of high school and college ages.
