The Quiet Christian wrote: Good one, Watching! PETA is for "protecting" the "unborn," but not unborn humans. People are the enemy in their view. Less people means less pressure on the environment. We are either rock, plant or animal. Which is it? If the unborn baby is not a human, then it must be an animal. If it's an animal then why on earth aren't the alarms going off to protect the dear unborn animals? Monkeys are protected and they are apparently 98% the same DNA-wise. Eagle eggs are protected. Why not the animal struggling for survival in mom's tummy? |

The Quiet Christian wrote: Major gaff by an org that ought to know better. SA posted a story about a week ago written by a pastor within the SBC who stated that various unbiblical concepts were creeping in and being celebrated rather than expelled. This situation stands as evidence that his claims are true. Unfortunately, there are many that would tend to uphold the concept of animal rights. Now I am very conscience of our responsibility to care for Creation, which includes caring for the animals the Lord made. To reject the gift of Creation, even tainted by the Fall for whom people, all who arethe children of Adam and Eve, carry the blame, is to reject the Giver. But to begin to equate animals and people as somehow equal requires a rewrite of Genesis. From the world's standpoint, animals have more rights and more support than unborn people. The outcry against "puppy mills" is defending. The outcry against abortion mills doesn't break squelch. Funny...I thought we were all animals according to evolution. Where's Peta protecting the unborn? |

truthful witness wrote: I'm not here to make excuses for evil or bicker with Judaizers and apostates. This morning in my first response to yours, it was difficult to know where you were coming from. You got my attention because there are three scenarios, that I believe are most likely to effect the US. At least that I am aware of. Two of these are very dangerous to any true child of God in Christ and I believe they will precede the revelation of the true church, but which of the contenders will place, remains to be seen. However from my understanding of history I fear you could be right if you are making a distinction between Islam and the Muslim people. |
