Thou, Thee are definitely singular. You is definitely plural.BTW "you" is used by Jesus in that chapter for example at v8 and 9. The Greek word for "you" is "humin" [5213] = Irreg. Dative case/ fm Irreg Plural. V35 "Thee" Greek word "soy" [4671]. Dative case. Fm "su" Pers. Pronoun, 2nd pers Singular. Which as the Scots might say, "Maks it a wee bit mair coplucatit." |
