The "RIGHT?" to bear arms???

Gun violence USA - 2016.

Incidents - 18,810.
Deaths - 4806.
Children Killed/injured - 205.
Teens - 1022.
Mass shootings - 102.

In an average month, 51 women are shot to death by intimate partners in the U.S.
And more than half of all women killed by intimate partners in the U.S. are killed with guns

America’s gun murder rate is more than 25 times the average of other developed countries.

"Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"

Please Note I (solutions) did not put the above post in.

I see that rather than honest debate we have one of Satan's liars to post for carrying the means to kill.

That works against the pro-gun argument. How sad that you need to go to this length to support your evil practice.

As for "semi-auto" or "automatic" guns - Someone really needs to study the technical engineering of these weapons before they "jump the gun."

1. Solutions is the same nut

2. you couldn't purchase a fully-automatic machine gun at your local gunshop.

Why thankyou Geff How very "Christian" of you to debate like that??? God Bless you.

2. Perhaps you should research "semi-automatic" .... ???

BTW
"And in its 2011 annual report to investors, Smith & Wesson Holding Company noted that there was a $489 million domestic, non-military market for “modern sporting rifles,” a euphemism for auto-loading, assault-style rifles. Modern sporting rifles are perhaps the fastest-growing segment of the domestic long gun industry."

Also;
"Take the AR-15, the auto-loading rifle that Adam Lanza used at Sandy Hook. The AR-15 is the civilian equivalent of the military M-16 assault rifle. It’s one of the most popular assault-style rifles on the market today."

You know I am sure that you guys and Al Capone can provide real good speculations for the carrying of guns of all kinds including machine guns. But the daily killings in your country together with regular mass killings and mass killings of children at schools and colleges make a very different statement. But hey why should that bother you?

Since you stated in your second comment that other countries have American like gun laws and don't have the same issues, you're acknowledging that the right to bear arms isn't the issue
It is for America.
Since clearly the other countries have access to guns (for some bizarre macabre reason) But do not carry out the regular mass slaughter that originates in American culture. It is America that has to deal with this and not allow the massacre to continue if they want to maintain any semblance of civilised society.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

NB: "A well regulated militia"
I guess that part has been long since deleted from the modern ideology of arming everybody with their personal assault rifle etc etc.

They have absolutely NOTHING to do with the right to bear arms, criminals DON'T obey laws that is why they are called criminals.
There are nations who have gun laws like America where everybody can keep a gun/rifle whatever in their homes. But these nations do not have monthly mass murders and daily slaughters like America does. So the point must be that American culture and mind set must be prevented from having this access to guns so that hundreds of children and adults can live in your culture for a longer time. The lynch mob style justice Americans use to retain weapons in every household is an inadequate attitude to the obvious problem your culture and mind set has.

1. to solutions the fallacy of your thinking is that guns is the problem

2. U.K., Ireland, Australia have not seen any significant drop in homicide rate since enacting gun bans.

1. As I stated earlier Switzerland have gun ownership like America. Guns in almost every house.
What they don't have is the monthly slaughter at the local schools as you do.
Therefore it seems that American culture or mind set encourages the mass killings which are a regular feature of your nation.
Three days into 2016 and you've already killed 70 people. That's more than ISIS isn't it?
btw; The total is now 93!!!

2. Rubbish. I live here and can see the difference.

Cold hard facts ....
Sandy Hook.
Columbine.
I see the USA gun violence for this year 2016 is already at '70' killed out of 242 incidents. That's pretty fast work.

Apparently ISIS and other extreme muslim terrorists justify their daily slaughters with their holy book.

Apparently their are some "Christians" on this thread who are like-minded with the muslims in this ideology???

Interesting!!

The constitution says that American's have the right to bear arms.

Sandy Hook declares much more loudly that Guns are not right nor a right in America.

Only Americans can prevent the massacres which are all to prevalent in their society on a daily basis.

How to do this is to restore moral rights above dated constitutional statements.

Christians do not carry guns.
Not in the Bible and not ever in God's service.

Apparently it depends on which country or culture they came to live in today.

BTW Dave. Would an Australian "Jesus/Paul" carry a gun in your nation today?

Switzerland has a high gun ownership just like America does. However Switzerland does not have a monthly massacre at their local schools like America.

So it really depends on the mentality of the culture of the country whether it is safe to provide everybody potentially with an assault rifle such as is common in America.

Liberals do not know God nor do they comprehend sin within themselves.

God did not write their constitution which allows for people of all dispositions to bear arms.

Actually, America doesn't have the highest
That's some really great excuses for the huge gun crime massacre rate which you justify in the US. I am sure we will be able to discuss them all over again at next months American school massacre???

In the mean time, here is how other nations have cut the gun crime rate and massacre sequence.
Quote;
Other countries all over the world play the same video games and have the same mental health problems as the United States, but manage to avoid a sky-high gun murder rate and frequent public shooting massacres.

The differences are due, in part, to the way that the different countries regulate gun ownership.

Here's how several other prosperous nations deal with the issue:"
http://www.businessinsider.com/canada-australia-japan-britain-gun-control-2013-1?IR=T

ps: I still believe that America should put its school children before gun sales. But convincing America is the problem which Sandy Hook and Roseburg have.

Luke 22:36 says provide yourself with an up to date weapon

You really shouldn't try to excuse the constant daily massacre of school children and others by suggesting the Bible supports not being able to defend yourself

Just in case you had not realised there is a vast difference between a sword and an assault rifle.

Christ suggested that the disciples should carry some swords at a time and in a land when police, justice and defence were not yet properly established in that ancient society.

If Justice and police are not established in your "primitive" country then lynch mob justice will be an option for you.

If however you have managed to progress to a modern nation with justice, police and social organisation perhaps it is time to loose the primitive and the lynch mob mind set.

America needs to protect its school children and remember Sandy Hook and Roseburg - the alternative is we will be having this same conversation at next months school massacre.
