"But when you submit to God, when you are controlled by gentleness, you will be able to help people overcome their honest difficulties with the Christian faith"
Perhaps we need to see more of Willard's statement to come to any true conclusion. But submitting to God and controlled by gentleness - To help others with their faith seems more like a human solution to a divine problem. However the divine does not have problems.
Faith can move mountains if that faith is the gift of God and comes through the branch from the vine which is Jesus.
John 15:5 "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
"repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again.""
This is what eastern communist nations do, like Mao Tse Tung and that guy in North Korea.
