Interesting article and the way the content is delivered is really good. The article is about the theologian John Piper seemingly questioned Martin Luther King Jr.'s theological. Thanks for this informative topic and continue sharing more articles. ]]hp printer not printing anything

“ Great Sermon! ”
A solid sermon for one looking for hope and encouragement for their prayers. I have been struggling very hard to find certain prayers answered and at times have felt so discouraged. I am a young man trying to recover from cancer and remain very fatigued; my family is not saved; my health is so poor that I cannot work; I have long desired to be a godly husband and have a Christ-honoring wife, yet at the moment seem the most un-eligible of Christian bachelors. It has seemed so impossible, and I have been going to the woods to pray every day for some time, though often finding so hard and discouraging. I have wanted to stop asking for anything at all, because I don't know if I am asking these things amiss, and because I struggle to believe that God will give me any of my requests. It has been a war. This sermon was of much help to me, preaching on Bible verses that are like the light of Elendil were to Frodo when he entered into Mordor... "I will rejoice over them to do them good" and "Men ought always to pray and not lose heart" and more.

Sermon:
Informal Talk
Paul Washer

“ Great Sermon! ”
I thought that Paul was very Christ-like in how he responded to the cell phone that went off during his talk. Coincidentally, this week, I happened to see a youtube video where a pastor is reading from the Bible about the love of God, and a lady's cell phone goes off. The lady must have accidentally left the ringer on, and did not know what to do other than answer and say she could not talk. When the phone first rang, the pastor was immediately angry and let out a disgusted groan. Then he marched over to the lady, grabbed her cellphone, and smashed it on the floor, all before returning to reading about the love of God! I could not believe the sheer hypocrisy I was seeing. And so, I wanted to mention that to show the contrast between a Christian who has the love of God (Paul, in his response to the cell phone) and one who professes to be a Christian and yet does not have the love of God. I am grateful to hear Paul's sermons and know by instances such as this, that he has the love of God in his heart.

Sermon:
Rock & Roll Music
Pastor Kent Kelly

“ Great Sermon! ”
I really appreciate this sermon. I had been listening to Oldies songs like Ritchie Valens thinking it was probably ok. I was getting more and more into it. I watched La Bamba and then read about the tragic plane crash that killed Valens and Buddy Holly at ages 17 and 21. I read that Holly grew up in a baptist family and yet departed from the faith. I began questioning if there wasn't something displeasing to God about these oldies songs I liked. I thought I should research what I could find on here. This preacher gives an excellent Biblical take on rock and roll and other worldly music. I also respect this man's tone and style of speaking. He seems like a wise and Christlike preacher.

“ So encouraging! ”
The point of this sermon is that God uses ordinary people, as we see from the early Christians. I was really blessed by this because I have often thought with discouragement of how phenomenally talented were missionaries like David Brainerd and Adoniram Judson--men at the top of their class at Ivy League colleges, brought up in Christian families, exceedingly disciplined and endowed in ways that most others are not. This sermon gives hope to those of us who are not so talented.

Every abortion is a planned murder too we as Christians need to be outraged about these things. The right to bear arms is a good law. We have different laws of the land too speed limit, stop signs, etc how many obey them though people are the monsters not guns !

“ Really helpful ”
I really appreciate this, especially what he says about occasional meditation. That is something I do but have never heard a preacher describe. This is a relief to me. Last year, I was very sick and almost died. I was diagnosed with cancer just before easter. Just a few hours before I was diagnosed, I was at work and someone had given me an easter themed button that showed 3 crosses shilhouetted on golgotha. I started thinking about Jesus's death on the cross and about how he told the criminal who believed in Him that he would be with Him in paradise. These contemplations brought me great peace despite the chaos of my physical health. Well, I mentioned this a week later to friends from church and one of the ladies said what I did was idolatry and rebuked me. All that to say, I am relieved that other Christians such as this preacher do not think it is idolatry to be reminded of God by everyday things and meditate on the truths which we are reminded of.

Well, considering 70% of Americans claim to be Christians, this really isn't that surprising. Why would abortions be so popular if everyone waited for sex after marriage?

“ Great Sermon! ”
I have been listening to quite a few sermons on the topic of how to hear from God and yours stuck out as being right on. This sermon was much better than others I listened to but still I wish you had gone into more specifics when it came to knowing exactly that when your reading your bible, how you know that what you are reading is God speaking specifically to you and what is just refresher.

Your definition of trinity is not in the bible... but if you believe that all three make up one "god".. takes away from what we know as of "God"..if so Jesus was sent by the"Father".. if Jesus gives homage to someone greater than he it's obvious that someone is greater than Jesus? ??
