re: intro...

Revelation means apocalypsis, removal of a veil.

is to be seen, is a book of symbols in motion what we see with our fleshly eyes is not the true reality at all, and so God is revealing the true nature of things. for instance the church at Smyrna appears poor. With our mortal eyes we would call them poor. But God calls them rich. From His perspective, the heavenly (the true and right) persepective.

Revelation is filled with OT symbolism, like the ancient of days of Daniel

Numbers have meaning in the text. the seven spirits of God does not literally mean He has seven spirits but that His Spirit is completing His Work, is Omniscient and Omnipresent.... again, the true perspective. We do not see with our mortal eyes the Spirit of God, but in Revelations we see the seven spirits. we also see multiples of 10s and 12 (number of God's people)

the book takes place soon -- Christians are continually experiencing it

the book is for the persecuted. prosperity teachers need not apply. white garments of the victor are present reality. again in the flesh, the martyr is a lifeless victim, from the heavenly perspective they are the victors in heaven, and Christ ready to vindicate them.

Friend, it helps to acknowledge the providence of God above all the happenings in history.
Dear one, I believe this has been my point all along.

John UK, you have the heart of an evangelist and I take your admonition seriously, as I also respect men of God who are preserving the Word of God for generations to come and are able to enter into discussion with the general community regarding the veracity of the scriptures. Both are part of the Great Commission. I've known people who live among tribes to learn their language and translate the Word of God to them. This is the Great Commmission too.

Brother Wayfarer, point taken. JMac has to be very careful engaging in politics (ie abortion, sodomy, etc) because he is 501c3, it is the free churches where pastors can speak their conscience because they are not representing a corporation, but simply ambassadors of Christ. as we both know, all things lived out in scripture have a moral component, and all moral things are played out in politics, so if we are to bow to all political things, then we are to bow to tyranny, thievery and murder!

so our pastors are forced to lead from the back. this is why I'm expecting underground churches pretty soon. Have been waiting to hear discussion from them on how to set themselves free, but instead they hold on, and make it their own stumbling block. so they can only lead from the back and muffled at best. (unless of course they tow the party line, and in that case they can scream from the pulpits, case in point, JMac speaking prophetically on Larry King about how Christians should back invading the ME, here we stand 14 years later with the ME and the west in shambles)

many great comments. The covenant of Christ is not a promise of escape from tribulation. "you will have tribulation".

oh no, a megachurch pastor spoke about something happening in the real world in their real community, can the masses survive the breaking off of the imaginary world, prosperity, if you feel alright you are alright sermons?

kudos to this pastor, not sure the owners of the corporate organization, that is the IRS/FED will be alright with it seeing as the UN is pressuring Russia to accept homosexuals on their UN staff?... but kudos to this pastor for the realization that people see him as a spiritual example and that he sees their actions in their community as a responsibility.

why do we have legal lists of membership except that it is a 501c3 church, in other words they need a legal list of who belongs to their corporation?

I'm just asking the question.

"membership" denotes a sanctified believer ready to serve, but most churches once someone is baptized (after a confessing faith) will bring them in as members. new Christians often come with some issues that need to be dealt with. I've seen the Lord work out some awful stuff in people's lives, even if it takes a number of days, weeks, or months, it took work on their part and it wasn't "immediate". what are we expecting from a pagan culture to hear the gospel for the first time, say a prayer, then get baptized and then become members? Seems too fast. biblical model would be the gospel and discipleship.

strange how the Christian who tries to live a pure and holy life before the Lord, redeemed and set apart, that makes sacrifices in their lives for others.... gets condemned for the sins of the homosexuals, for whatever reason they turn to that. this path is set and it is a spiritual blindness that will accuse the man who is not in pathological behavior to be blamed for pathology. if they have their way and continue eliminating social structures that are held together by Godly men, and their society crumbles, as it is doing, and they silence the message of Christ in every way imaginable, and they are then left with a lawless, deviant society and their own torn consciences, who are they then going to blame? this is a cosmic avoidance of sin. a people who cannot rule themselves will be ruled by a heavy hand, right behind this surrender of society I see sharia. the whole movement seems to want us to sacrifice what's left of our dignity, without realizing it.

Mike, although I do not support the RCC, many will be surprised when they are before the Lord and they say, didn't I do good works in your name and He will say "I never knew you.".... I do believe there will be many that CHrist will pull from false religions and many in "good churches" that will not, because they carried their idols more quietly.

here is from one of her press releases:

“Legalization will mean a huge boost in agriculture in Oklahoma given that hemp is indigenous to the state and provisions regarding hemp cultivation in the recently approved Farm Bill"

hemp was common among farmers, a huge cash crop not long ago (until it was banned along with pot), was used for industry, soil improvement, paper, grown by founding fathers, used as food. what exactly is so evil about it and why is it illegal to grow? its perfectly legal to eat it, but has to be imported from Canada.

well, look at that, would be beneficial to the land, to the economy, and to health.... can't have that.

its a demoralizing process. everything that might be cultural identity will be erased.

but Christian pastors have taught their people to not get involved in their world, to just go home and wait for the rapture... one thing I've never seen is liberals and conservatives looking at something and agreeing that it is deplorable. but here we have a nation that doesn't want it, and states getting paid to take it before they even see what's there. the gentleman mentioned that after testing is usually when the cluebird flies over the people and they start to see what's going on.

so thank you Bill Gates and a lobby of a few guys for your money and rewriting American society.

and with the progression of technology written within, children's behavior and thoughts have to be recorded by the teacher daily into the database, which will be there forever.... once they are old enough (for what trade is not off limits considering their book choices?) -- corporate interests will be able to access their database and recruit.

the corporate-collective nation is rising..... or falling, depending on how you want to say it.

if they don't work, why do we burn out the vitamins in pasteurization and then add back mass-produced vitamins back into the milk and call it "fortified"? it is odd to hear medical establishment tell people that vitamins don't matter and then to eat "fortified" foods. and why do these foods have to be "fortified"? because the foods are lacking nutrition!

Dolores, I remember when they were suddenly concerned of spreading disease and moms were no longer allowed to bake things for the class -- one angry spoke in the wheel will try to stop the whole wheel from turning. but there is another side to this. many have conflicting allergies today. our medical profession dare not challenge, and so families are left with just being "ok" with autism, autoimmune disease, and allergies. I could think of multiple recent practices offhand that are obvious culprits to be looked at.... the "experts" say they know nothing and nothing can be done. ok, then they know nothing, I move on. we like our myths. its rather sad, these kids growing up will not have normal lives....

seems a strange and apathetic response. if a car has one broken piece, its recalled across the nation. but when entire generations are facing cataclysmic health issues, its ho hum, nobody knows.... really?

but.... injecting peanut oil and egg protein into someone's blood with adjuvants and being surprised their body creates an autoimmune response to those proteins, is akin to a pregnancy being "unplanned".
