To be fair to John he has been consistent in what he believes; the best introduction would be this: https://www.the1689confession.com/He also gave a recent link to (read?): http://www.1689federalism.com/faq2/ Which is also a hot topic amongst those who are not Baptists: https://www.puritanboard.com/threads/1689-federalism-revisited.97308/ His favourite preachers- J C Ryle and C H Spurgeon; a good guide to the fact that he is in the mindset of historical biblical Christianity (I'd call him a Protestant, but he wouldn't like it!). The particular mystic lady he referred too is also referred to favourably by Spurgeon and Pink. He isn't perfect and doesn't claim to be, but he is still defending his firm convictions … 1689 Reformed Baptist. The same convictions as the great C H Spurgeon.
