Thanks to those who I had some good biblical fellowship.
May the Lord bless you and keep you till we meet at our Fathers House.
Bye.
MS . . thank you so much for upholding me in your prayers.

Thank you for the fellowship we enjoyed and for the support and encouragement I received by your thoughtful and edifying comments, through which I have been blessed.

May the Lord bless you and keep you as well my dear sister,
till we sit down together at the wedding feast of the Lamb in our Fathers House.
I am looking forward to the time when I will have a glorified body like unto our Lord's.
- Phil 3:20-21

Til then, may God be pleased to enable us through grace,
to "glorify God in our body and in our spirits", which are God's."

JA I talk to your sister Ladybug and she wanted you to know she forgives you and she forgave you before you even asked her. Her going away was not because of you she has made a personal choice to leave SA as the boards are no longer conducive to good biblical fellowship (not because of you). She regards you as a sister.
I believe that Ladybug has made a good descision to leave SA news feed for herself. I too feel like doing the same.
She wanted me to let you know this.

That is the so good to know . . thank you.

Kev, I'm using Ralph's computer as SA blocked my posts at mine. Just as well,
because after much prayerful consideration, I too have decided to cease from any further engagement at this forum, and for the very reasons Ladybug has cited.

I did however want to make amends and much-needed apologies to those I have harmed by my words as a final gesture.

Kev, I am truly relieved to learn that Ladybug still regards me as her sister in the Lord.

Tell my dear sister that I am glad the Lord put her in my path and that I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks again to all my beloved brethren in the Lord .. Kev, Christopher, Lurker, MS.

Posting for June

Thank you Kev, Christopher, Lurker, for reproving me. I know you did it out of Christian love and for my good with a view to recovering me. Throughout this very painful exercise I have been brought by God's grace to examine my heart and see my sin. I know brothers and sisters in the Lord are obliged to correct and admonish one another and I was in need of both. LURKER was right when he said "JA, you brought shame to God and to His redeemed on the comment board. Perhaps some prayer closet time is in order."
This has been for me a much needed lesson in humility. On the plus side, when you're brought very low, you invariably will look up! Ps. 121:1
Once again I truly am sorry for the hurt I caused you, and for the shame I brought to the cause of Christ. I have taken these things to heart.
There are times when the only dress suitable for a Christian is that of sackcloth and ashes, and for me this is such a time.
I take David's prayer for my own . .
Ps. 51:10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God: and renew a right spirit within me."
May this be the very means the Lord is pleased to use to my growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ II Pet 3:18
Thank you for extending forgiveness to me and for your prayerful support.

JA

@Ladybug, June wanted me to pass this on to you.

Ladybug, I don't know if you're following this thread, but I hope you are because I wish to apologize to you for my uncharitable response made here on 2/10/17 to the comments you made about me and Ralph at the News Item: "Hawaii bill would legalize prostitution industry' on 2/10/17.
You rightly observed that things had gone south. Though my initial reaction to your remarks was one of resentment, after I came to my senses, and reviewed carefully what you said, I realized I had over-reacted. I said some sarcastic and mean things to you that I deeply regret and have repented of. I have since heeded your wise counsel and have searched my heart. You were right, I did not like what the Lord revealed to me. In recalling my comments, many removed by SA, I can only hang my head in shame. My remarks were over the top and I have apologized to all those whom I offended by them at this thread and they have all graciously forgiven me.
You spoke the truth in love to me when you said: "Let us defend the truth, but, not at the expense of attacking and accusing the brethren."
Ladybug, I am so sorry. I do so desire to be reconciled to you and that in time, we can resume the cordial relations we enjoyed before this incident.

Lurker, this note is from June

Lurker, thank you for your kind words and for extending forgiveness to me so quickly . . I am overwhelmed by your gracious spirit.

I have been greatly troubled in my spirit by these matters and though I wanted so desperately to set things right, I was filled with apprehension and fearful of approaching you.

Thank you for accepting my apology and for still regarding me as your sister in the Lord.

I'll probably take a break for awhile, but in the future when I do comment, I will keep this verse before my eyes:

Psalm 141:3

"Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth, keep the door of my lips."

I still must make amends with ladybug, my dear sister in the Lord.
May God be pleased now to give me the words with which to entreat her forgiveness.

In Christ,

JuneAnnette

Lurker . . June asked me to post her apology to you, as she is under the weather.

Lurker, I come before you in a spirit of humility and repentance. I am truly sorry for lashing out at you and for the hurtful and mean-spirited things I said to you & about you to others. I am deeply ashamed for my snide and rash remarks.
I have been pricked in my conscience by the Spirit. The Lord has showed me my sin. Ps. 139:23. Lurker, I don't know what came over me. when I took a swipe at your name. I cannot defend or excuse that. The old nature reared its' ugly head and for a moment the old man of sin gained the ascendancy over the new man of grace. "O wretched man (woman) that I am." Rom. 7:18
Once again I was reminded that I cannot live the Christian life in my own strength. John 15:5 and how needful it is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ by faith that I make no provision for the flesh. Rom. 13:14
You were right in your censure of me. You sought in a Christlike spirit to show me my fault. I now know you only meant to do me good by your reproof. Gal. 6:1-2
Ralph was only trying as husbands do to come to my defense, but that too was wrong.
Lurker I offer my deepest apology and hope in time you can forgive my trespass against you for it is my desire to be reconciled to you.

JA

Christopher, again June has asked me to post what she has written to you.

Christopher, my friend, thank you for finding it in your heart to forgive me. You are so gracious. It was I who spoke amiss. It is all on me. You made a number of efforts to reason with me and entreat me, which I rebuffed. The fault lies entirely with me. I must choose my words more carefully.

I confess now before God and you that I have many infirmities, many failings, many faults, many weaknesses, and as the psalmist confessed . . "my sin is ever before me."
Ps. 51

Yet I thank the God who justified me in Christ is the same God who is refining me . . sanctifying me, and those whom the Lord sanctifies, he glorifies. Praise God.

"But he knoweth the way that I take, when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."
Job 23:10
and Zech 13:9

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Phil. 1:6

May the Lord be pleased to help me find the words to adequately express my remorse over hurtful words I have spoken to and about others here, that I might be reconciled to them as well.

Thank you so much Christopher for the gentle and loving way in which you have dealt with me. How Christlike you are.

JA

Christopher, I seek to be reconciled to you. To that end, I sincerely apologize for the harsh words I spoke against the men of this forum, including yourself,at the News Item 'Hawaii Bill Would Legalize Prostitution Industry'
You rightly took exception to my blanket statement. You were right as well in stating that the matter of clergy abuse is one which I have a great burden for, one which has deeply affected me, and one which I feel compelled to speak out against. But as you and others have pointed out, Christ's body has many members, and not all are called to the same work.
I was wrong. I have sinned against you and the brethren. I want to set things right. I have since gone to the throne of grace and confessed my sin to my great High Priest, and found forgiveness with Him, for He is plenteous in mercy and ready to forgive.

I now humbly beg and entreat your forgiveness Christopher. I hope to make amends with others at this forum whom I have offended as well, as the Lord gives me help. I know you said things to me that needed saying, and that what you and others said was meant for my good, not my hurt. You are a most gracious spirit.

Kev, June wanted me to post this to you before we retire for the evening.

Her words:

I am truly sorry for offending you Kev. I did not mean to be so harsh in my speech. I have spent much time in my prayer closet at the advice of you and others.

I do sense you and Christopher genuinely desire to promote peace among the brethren
and I appreciate your gracious spirit and words.

Thanks Kev . . June has been doing quite a bit of soul searching of late,
and found great encouragement from a posting by MS that she came across while thumbing through her comments:

"In many things we ALL offend. Extend grace, forgive, move on."

I'll tell her you said hi and knowing June as I do, that will raise her spirits.

BM . . I called you no name. That is simply not true. Have a good night.

Your comments BM at this forum are given over to doctrinal teaching, not "opinions."

You are quick to rebuke and reprove others, but will not accept it yourself.

God's Word is without ambiguity, for those who have discernment and are of a right spirit, those who out of love, keep his commandments and graciously submit to His will.

To do otherwise is to impose your will over His. That is the mark of a rebellious spirit, one lacking humility.

Proverbs 10:17
"He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth."

I'm sure you will have a clever response but
God is not mocked.

Women who presume to exercise spiritual rule over men are acting contrary to the Word of God.
Those who love God, keep his commandments.

Lurker is a most appropriate name for you!
Get off your high horse.

I read my wife's comments and there was nothing remotely offensive in them. She said nothing wrong.

Four fingers pointing back at you.
You bring shame to God and to His redeemed on this comment board by your haughty spirit and pharisee-like words,
which I find extremely offensive and obnoxious.

I've read your comments and they speak volumes about your heart. No good treasure there. Contrary to what you think, you are no "theologian".

A scriptural understanding of "antichrist" as given by Shaun Willcock, Gospel Minister, Christian Apologist

- continued -

http://www.biblebasedministries.co.uk/pamphlets/3/

The prophesied Antichrist was not Hitler. He was not Mussolini, or Lenin, or Stalin, those monsters of iniquity who appeared on the stage of history for a few brief years, and then went the way of all the earth. He is not some Communist dictator, or Muslim fanatic, alive right now. The Antichrist is the pope of Rome. He is every pope of Rome. The present pope is the Antichrist, the previous pope was the Antichrist, and the pope to come will be the Antichrist. Antichrist is alive today, and Antichrist was alive a hundred years ago, and a thousand years ago. Christians in the Dark Ages came up against Antichrist, and Christians today face him still. Hear the Word of God!

Jesus said, "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" (Matt.24:5). Not just one man at the end of time, but many men, a succession of men, all claiming to come in the name of Christ, and each one of them claiming to be Christ. A succession of men, down through the centuries, one after another, each one spewing forth the same blasphemy. The Antichrist is the pope who is alive at any given moment.

A scriptural understanding of "antichrist" as given by Shaun Willcock, Gospel Minister, Christian Apologist, & faithful servant of the Lord

Article: THE ANTICHRIST by Shaun Willcock / Bible-based Ministries

http://www.biblebasedministries.co.uk/pamphlets/3/

The Present Pope, Like Every Pope Before Him, Is Antichrist . .

"And does the pope of Rome confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?

No, he does not. Oh, he may do it with his lips, saying, "I confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh"; but this is not the meaning of the words. And yes, he may confess such doctrines as the true divinity and humanity of Christ; but the words are not limited to these doctrines. To confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is to confess all the truth about Christ, as revealed in His Word: that He alone is the way to the Father; that there is salvation in no other; that He alone is the Head of the Church; that to eat His flesh and drink His blood, is to partake of Him spiritually, by faith, and not physically; that His sacrifice
was perfect and complete and never to be repeated; etc., etc. All these great truths, the popes deny."

Richard Bennett - Rev. 17:
The revelation of God shows forth the attire and possessions of the Apostate system, “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet
colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand
full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication” (v. 4). Scarlet, the usual color of the robes
of kings and military men, was and still is the favorite color of Papal Rome. Cardinals for example, are clothed all in scarlet. Papal patriarchs, metropolitan archbishops, archbishops and bishops wear purple and “the Pectoral cross”. “The Pectoral cross” is declared by Rome to be “decorated with gems; that of a bishop usually contains relics of a martyr.”22 Papal Rome has the “the golden cup” in the chalice on her altar, which must be gold or gold-plated. Biblically, gold represents perfection and the things of God. Deceptively Rome offers a “pure” outward display, but of her Eucharistic use of that golden cup she states, “…in the sacrifice of the Mass Our Lord is immolated.”23 In Scripture Lord Jesus Christ’s perfect sacrifice was once offered.24 Thus the golden cup she holds out as the center of her worship to God is filled with the most odious of abominations, an apt image to denote her idolatry and superstition.

Rev. 17:5 expounded by former RC priest & founder of Berean Beacon Ministries

The Apostle John beheld the ten-horned beast carrying a woman dressed in purple and scarlet, decked with gold, precious stones, and pearls, a harlot, and the mother of harlots and abominations. She is the paramour of kings, merciless, cruel, intoxicated with the blood of the saints and of the martyrs of Christ Jesus. These symbols are brilliantly portrayed. “The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth” (v 9).This the Holy Spirit clarifies by proclaiming, “the woman which thou sawest is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth” (v 18). The city indisputably is Rome.
The name upon the harlot’s brow is “mystery” (v 5).
She cannot be heathen Rome of which there was no mystery because her character was never concealed. “Christian” Rome, however, is a mystery, for she is not what she appears. Babylon, in the book of Revelation, is a city and a harlot. Jerusalem, in the same book, is a city and a bride. Babylon is the fraudulent lover of earthly kings; Jerusalem, the chaste bride of the King of Kings. The contrast is between the faithful Church and the Apostate Church. Chapter Seventeen thus describes in detail the character of the Apostate Church.”

John Gill
come out of her, my people;
meaning either his elect ones, till now uncalled, being such whom God had chosen for his people, and were so by virtue of the covenant of grace, were given to Christ as his people, and were redeemed by him, though, till this call, in an unconverted state; or else such who had been secretly called by the grace of God, but had not made a public profession of the Gospel, nor bore an open testimony against the Romish idolatry; for as the Lord had a righteous Lot in Sodom, and saints where Satan's seat was, Rome Pagan, so he will have a people in Rome Papal, at the time when its destruction draws near; and these wilt be called out, not only in a spiritual sense, to quit the communion of the church, to forsake its idolatries, and not touch the unclean thing, separate themselves from her, and bear a testimony against her doctrines and worship, but in a literal sense, locally; they shall be bid to come out of her, as Lot was ordered to go out of Sodom before its burning, and the people of the Jews out of Babylon before the taking of it, ( Jeremiah 50:8 ) ( 51:45 ) to which reference is here had: and as the Christians were called out of Jerusalem before the destruction of it: this shows the particular knowledge the Lord has of his people - cont.
