Lie Detector wrote: They've twisted the nature of sin, stripped man of any responsibility for his actions and made it virtually impossible for the Holy Spirit to convict anybody. This is the gnostic and Roman Catholic dogma of Original Sin. They've rendered the need to resist temptation meaningless with the Eternal Security heresy. They've destroyed man's part in the equation, in that he must actually DO something to be worthy to inherit eternal life. Not of Works, Faith Alone, blah, blah, blah. On and on it goes. They trust in the multitude of their mighty men, like Augustine, Luther and Calvin and the rest, all of whom are rotting in hell right now. Nobody will listen, but you cannot pull the wool over God's eyes, and it will be too late to cry foul at the judgement. See the channel holdingfirmly on youtube for more details. Works lifted me, works lifted me, when God's power could not help, works lifted me. Luther and Calvin rotting in Hell? Guess it's good to know your neighbors. Liar detective. A few more posts, and you will convince EVERYONE. |

John for JESUS wrote: Farr... I don't know enough about Pelagius because most his works are still in Latin (or whatever language). I know he was supposed to be a heratic. He was wrong if he believed in salvation by works or that some people don't need of a Savior. The Bible is clear though, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. I'm to conservative to be liberal. Pelagius believed what you believe - that the natural man is not sinful that he needs any help from the Spirit of God to believe the remedy that God has provided for all men to the saving of his soul. Like you he denied that faith was a gift. |
