For all the argument I for one fear God and trust for my salvation on His Son revealed to us in scripture. You can as you have burn us but we trust God and not the pope or Mary.
John Paul 2 says it all. It was individuals in the church that went too far. He did not appologise for the official church teaching. 605 years and 75 popes who added to the horrors. It was as usual the laity's fault. Usual double speak for an infallible pope. Catholic men need to raise themselves up and get the church to take the blaim or else accept the pope spoke without a forked tongue.
