“ Great Sermon! ”
This is one of my poems I wrote after I learned to let the Lord create a clean heart in me; which HE continually does now.
GLORIFIED IN HOPE
Many have experienced the emotion
Of the hope in heaven someday,
But few have come to know the ONE
Who is HOPE in these bodies of clay.
When we’re willing for God to test us
He unveils His Glory within,
Revealing the riches we have in Christ,
For we’re made complete in Him
The presence of Christ is our Glory.
Glory that fades not away.
Hope that lets us stand the tests,
For in trials, His fruit, He’ll display.
When we learn to give Him full control
His voice, in tests, we’ll hear.
For Hope is the Glory of His very SELF
As He casts out doubt and fear.
Having Faith, Meekness, and Self-control
And filled with His Love, Joy and Peace;
His Patience, Kindness, & Goodness will flow,
For our HOPE is knowing He’s well pleased.
