Jim Lincoln wrote: Since I'm neither of the Quaker or Amish sects, I'm not going to use Elizabethan English Strawman alert!!Thats really not the point Jim. The modern versions are bad translations and come from the bad source of eclectic plus heretics Greek texts. The folks who lived in the 19th century had little education, used the SAME vernacular and idiom which we do today, - and the Church and sound doctrine grew powerfully, (especially compared with todays modern versions churches) - WHEN EVERYBODY USED THE KING JAMES BIBLE. Praise be to God. Amen! |

"Pullman told The Times newspaper that the idea of Jesus being the son of God came from Paul's ''fervid imagination''." Only God's Elect know the Truth! Only the true believer In Christ knows Jesus Christ Crucified the Son of God. Those who do not know this truth, - which man can only receive by the Holy Spirit - are bound for hell and damnation, unless God has elected them to be saved at some future time. GOD says.... Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. |

"It should not be left out that the American Congress, following the famous Declaration of Independence, passed a resolution that declared, "Whereas true religion and good morals are the only solid foundation of public liberty and, happiness, Resolved, that it be and hereby is earnestly recommended to the several states to take the mar: effectual measures . . . for the suppression of theatrical entertainments . . . and Such other diversions as are productive of idleness, dissipation, and a general depravity of principles and manners."((Quoted from S.M. Houghton, "The Christian and Theatrical Entertainment," The Banner of Truth, December, 1971, p. 29)) |
