Michael H Now that you have revealed your Roman Catholic-Arminian position don't forget that is your declaration of where you stand doctrinally. Some free willers around here declare their Arminian/Free will/RCC ideologies then change their minds further down the thread. As for the GOD ORDAINED Reformation - If you have complaints about it then direct them to GOD Himself. What GOD did was bring the Protestant Church into Bible doctrines and began then to build HIS Church on that foundation. That is what GOD DID with the Reformation. Arminians came along later and invented the human faith formula whereby they trust God in part and at some point in their "faith" the sinner trusts himself. Which is the RCC/Free Willer DIY method which is the opposite to Bible based Calvinism. Subsequently by His Grace God taught the Bible doctrines to His Church by TULIP, Canons of Dordt and WCF. So Michael you are one of the Anabaptist philosophy followers, which rejects the Covenant of God. This ideology materialised after God's Reformation as did the Arminian theory and many other heresies. Hmmm? |

Michael Hranek wrote: to condemn those who for their own conscience's sake refuse to even set foot in a RCC building The Reformation which God ordained in the 16th century apparently means very little to you. Idolatry, blasphemy, Human Traditions such as - prayers for the dead (Like the funerals you PARTICIPATED in) Veneration of angels and dead saints/sinners, Maryolatry, unbiblical doctrines such as purgatory, celibacy, prayers not directed to God, worship of the cross, images and relics, the mass developed as sacrifice, the rosary, transubstantiation, confessions to sinful men, abandonment of sola scriptura, "Mother of God" doctrine .... and many more. All of these unbiblical idolatrous and blasphemous practices are anti-God and anti-Christ but apparently mean nothing to you since you happily attend such ceremonies at the drop of a hat?? Satan is obviously in complete control of the Roman Catholic church and the Vatican. Yet again you will quite happily drop in to "his church" - To indulge in a bit of Satan worship? Perhaps you (and others here) manifest still other parts of your "latent" Roman heresies - besides your salvation by works? Or at the very least you demonstrate your ecumenical affinities with the RCC? |

Mike wrote: I may be picky, but I see a difference between going to the RCC and going back into Catholicism. I've gone to funerals and weddings there Does that mean you have attended the mass which the RC's have at a funeral?Joining the RCC in their church services at any time is supporting their idolatry and unbiblical practices. Not a good idea for any Christian serious about truth and worship. But you raise an interesting point here. As you know the Arminian/free willer practices the Roman salvation by works ideology. Now this of itself is idolatry of self/sinner as well as blasphemous in the suggestion that God cannot save without agreement or contribution of a sinful heart and mind. The alternative is of course the complete sovereignty of God - which the Roman Arminians cannot receive. The Roman Arminians ideological practice includes human faith as opposed to faith the gift of God as taught in the Bible. Do you think that God permits the true Christian to indulge in false religious practices, ceremonies and will worship? Christ's teachings at Matt 7:21-23 and Peter's teaching at 2Peter 2:1ff spring to mind here. |
