Yes, it's true the Saudi's are the major proponents and financial supporters of Islamic terrorism. However just as in Western countries, money talks and those who have it can sit back and let others do their dirty work. Also, the Saudis have a lot of rich American friends who are quite content to look the other way in order to protect thier vested oil interests and vent their frustrations on less wealthy but more vocal Islamic troublemakers such as Iran, Iraq and Syria. Chief among these American hypocrits are the Bushes and the Cheyneys. The great irony remains that Osama Bin Laden is a Saudi, the 9-11 attackers were Saudi, and we attack Iraq, a secular regime whom the Saudis disliked because of Iraq's lack of Islamic extremism. Go figure!
I do not espouse the Anglican polity or doctrines, but these two men deserve our prayers. They have done a courageous thing. It is not easy for ministers their age to give up pensions, health care and security for Biblical principal. Who would have ever thought that when Anglican missionaries went to Africa to convert the pagans, that the time would come when the children of the pagans would have to minister to the children of the missionaries about the truth of God's Word?
