Couple of questions: first, what does the phrase "for the dead" mean in this context? Secondly, guys, did you "shave off the corner" of your beard this morning? Thirdly, are we as Christians required to obey these commandments listed in Leviticus? And if not, then why bring it up in the first place?
To all those who responded directly or otherwise to my question, thank you. However I still don't understand where we got the NT or who decided it's contents. I mean, the NT didn't just fall out of the sky, it had to come from somewhere.
Concerning the article, can someone explain to me why some Christians hold the view that the KJV is the only translation that it right, or inspired, etc.?
If Muslims can memorize the entire Quran, then how difficult can it be for us Christians to memorize say the entire Sermon on the Mount, or maybe the entire Gospel of Mark? But then again, Psalm one does not promise any benefits to memorizing scripture, just meditating on scripture.
