John UK, precisely my point, until God opens the deaf ear and the blind eye, the dead in sin sinner will not see his/her need for a Savior. God must first do a work in the heart of a sinner before the sinner can cry out 'O God, be merciful to me, a sinner!'Good point.
Joe P., No one can receive Christ unless the Father FIRST draws them to Him. Salvation is a supernatural work of the Lord, from start to finish. Agreed. My post earlier was a simple answer to you question. Jn. 1:12 There is no contradiction. God enables us to call, but call we must. |
