Ah, we don't like talking about the real issue do we, Jim? Because you imagine vainly that the Bible should be translated from the minority texts; so called, because they are in the minority, in fact, very few of them, including Sinaiticus (which also has the Shepherd of Hermas and the apocrypha, soon to appear in modern Bibles everywhere) and Vaticanus, kept under wraps by the Pope, and used by Nestle/Aland. Nebraska Man's nasb attitude sure makes him one tough Hesperopithecus haroldcookii, but he will crumble anyway. Sad thing is; I used to use the nasb. But after years of reading his comments, I put it aside. I just became ill with it. |

I would listen to pop, and many times I would hear a ringing in my ears. Then the voices started. Oh I forgot to mention; between the ringing and the voices, I would pick up the telephone reciever. And there were the voices.
Sometimes I would talk back to the voices, while I drank my Pop. Or was I listening to the Pop? I forget. Where iz my doctor? Pop into my office sometime, and we will see what we can do for you.  |

While the preachers were preaching, people of all ages were coming to the prayer alter praying intensly. Preachers in the midst of the sermons would break down crying from truths that God showed them. We had nine to twelve preachers a day, and none of it dead. There was no need for any SRI's. It was a Spiritual tsunami, and we are still feeling the aftershocks.
Of course we are still praying for Japan. Thet were not sinners above all others. but unless we (the U.S.) repent, we shall likewise perrish |

Now your patient is most most interesting. Some folks yell a lot, but your case study seems to yell at everybody and everything. He even yells at his friends. Reminds me of Jack Russell.
But what I really don't comprehend, is why, seeing as he is a fundamentalist Baptist, that other fundamentalist Baptists do not rebuke and exhort him with all longsuffering and doctrine, as to his yelling and telling science fiction stories and having a triple-personality, one of which votes one way, one votes the other way, and the other abstains. Or do fundamentalist Baptists see in him the epitome of the fundamentalist Baptist ethos, namely, to be militant towards the Reformed, to yell at everybody, and see Reds under the bed, and Jesuits in the cupboard?

I was originaly answering WR's post in which he believed the Tony was also posting under the name of A Bible Christian who believes. So, in order to make my comment clear, and there will be no misunderstanding: No I was not reffering to you at all. I was reffering to Tony and A bible christian who believes, as having the same problem.
I appologize for attributing to you more cleverness that you have. You normaly show good insight in your posts, and I've never seen you portray defensivness like this before. I know there are non protestants that post here. I also know that there are Paranoid people who call people names because they disagree with them. So, one more time to make it clear; I was not talking about you. |
