“ Great Sermon! ” Wife and I have been separated for a month, marriage is over. Now all of a sudden my urges come back like a 18 year old. Just downloaded and will listen at work but the title made me laugh, and tell me that God knows my (and many others) struggle. This is a blessing and indication that He has my back.
First to show their support to the Muslim students on Friday were Duke Divinity School students who gathered on the lawn in large numbers. “Christians are called to be people of peace,” said Sarah Martindell, a third-year-graduate student who drew a sign that said “Duke Divinity Supports You.” ‘’This demonstrates our solidarity with our Muslim neighbors.”
Comment: So does this mean the Duke divinity students are afirming the prayer and that "There is no god but Allah" and that "Muhammed is his messenger" ?? I perhaps understand the students' desire to be freindly and inclusive, but maybe they should ask how tolerant and accepting the muslim students families would be if they were to convert to another religion. Bottom line is that the Islamic faith is very exclusive and intolerant of other religions and to promote this kind of activity in the name of diversity will only benefit muslims and be harmful everyone else, especially Christians.

A much more sober decision with regards to "gay marriage" and the role of state control of such issues versus an activist judiciary was issued by the 6th US Circuit last week. Worth reading is Judge Jeffrey Sutton for the majority:
The Biblical basis of marriage between one man and one woman is very clear. Marriage laws in our republic should be decided by the states. There is no constitutional basis for the courts to override the states and the will of the majority of the people on this issue.
Yes as He has done through history, sometimes by supernatural events most most often by faithful men and women who if nexessary will give their life so the next generation can have it.
