You're right Jim that Trump would be a terrible representation of Christianity if he were a believer. But we can be thankful that despite his major character failures, he is willing to speak of the blessing of Christ coming into this world. Also his policy is something much more closer aligned to Christianity than what the left stands for. I would have had a bit of thankfulness had Biden been willing to acknowledge the spiritual riches of Christ's coming into this world-- even if it was to appeal to the right.

Jim, if you read your only article closely, you will see that the wording of the bill was non-specific with regards to the reimbursement funds. In a bill that had a specific aim, such an oversight is notable and hard to dismiss as unintentional. Where federal dollars are being spent, there are always parameters given. Maybe prolifers jumped to conclusions--but without doubt the democrat proaborts gave the push.

Our church has a lot of Dutch members, and they tell me their relatives in the Old Country actually fear the hospital when they get older. They will consider staying away when sick lest the decision is made for them.

Brothers I thank you for your replies and for your intent and desire to reach others with the gospel. We know we shall one day stand before the Lord and He shall avenge His church because vengeance belongs to Him, so yes, let us grow weary, and let us be quick to deny ourselves. God's blessings.

I'm troubled each time I look at these comments. I take a quick look each day at the stories that sermonaudio posts. I scroll down occasionally to see the comments. Always the same. I'm troubled, not so much that people of the same political bent as I (conservative), but that rather Christians (biblical, orthodox in doctrine, believing we are called to be holy) would resort to hateful, disdainful insults against someone who is liberal. Is this in any way Christ-like? This is not simply speaking truth. This is worse than schoolyard bullying. Do we not seek win people to Christ with grace, turning the other cheek, speaking the truth in love, blessing those who curse us, not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling? I plead with you brothers to end this manner of discourse--it brings no glory, rather shame, to the blessed name of our Lord and Savior, whom I trust we all love.
