So, let me understand, if you haven't cajoled and harassed everybody in your family into getting onto the Facebook brain numbing, time wasting "pastime" then you need to be targeted for tax evasion prosecution?
Lets use some methods that work, and have worked. Like verifying the social security #'s of the children or dependants listed on the return. Which can be automated much better than facebook trawling.
Not everyone feels the need to be applauded on their every conversational topic, action, or photo.
Most of us outgrow (outgrew?) the childish need for constant reaffirmation by "show and tell" when we are (were?) leaving kindergarden behind.
Nor do we all like having to share with the info-vacuum what we discuss with our family and friends. Privately, or if you use such platforms, with the assumption of privacy that is a gossamer veneer.
