The fallacy of equivocation is an enemy in this conversation. It’s the same problem that occurs every time people speak of this issue.
The fallacy of equivocation is when a person changes the definition in the middle of a discussion. When one mentions a Christian Magistracy they immediately think of the Spanish Inquisition, or Bloody Mary or the like. These regimes are not Christians. These regimes committed horrible atrocities upon faithful Christians. A truly Christian Magistracy, as far as my history study shows me, are not hunting down thousands of heretic. How often do we hear about that wicked Calvin who had that heretic Servetus killed. This one example is flown high and wide because it is basically their only prove text. (I know there are other examples) A truly Christian Magistracy will be a most beautiful thing because it is approved by Christ, administered by his Spirit, and governed by his law of love and liberty.
Interesting....a collection of old unmarrieds some sodimites, having a discussion of marriage and family values..... Yup, gotta get all the RC back in the fold the coffers are getting quite low with all the payouts for their ungodly, wickedness. Satans synagogue for sure.

Another view on Simon the Sorcerer..... When Peter rebuked him. Did Simon admit his guilt? No, he exhibited fear. Instead of praying for himself,he asked Peter to pray for him. There is no evidence that he ever repented. He is an example of those who believe in the power of God,who want the blessings but will not humble themselves through repentance and heart-felt faith. You cannot buy the things which God gives freely, salvation, forgiveness ,heaven, or spiritual life with filthy lucre. Seems Simon was more interested in the miracles than following Christ.
Free-grace is the boast of true pilgrims below, As through this dark valley to Zion they go. Free-grace long has been my soul's triumph and joy; And, while in the body, shall be my employ; And when my glad spirit to God shall ascend Free -grace is the song which shall never end. ~Cornelius Slim~
Free-will is a liar, says"tis with ease A man can believe and repent when he please That he's a free agent, and so may refuse The good or the evil, whichever he choose." Free-will's an imposter and cheat, at the best, To offer salvation he never possess'd If certain conditions I only fulfill, Yet gives me no power to do nor to will. ~Cornelius Slim~
Mr.Yurich USA, But The LORD JESUS CHRIST says, God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him MUST worship Him in spirit and TRUTH. John 4:24. It's not about us and how we feel and how we want to do it. Remember Aaron's sons And what happened when they did it their way and not the way the Lord God commanded.Think on these things!
Great Sermon! A message of clarity, discernment and direction concerning the way a Christian should go concerning the right kind of worship music in church. Dr. Bob Jones Jr. message "Sound Doctrine Vs. Doctrine of Demons" is one that carries a timely warning to pastors and church members on Satan’s method of distraction and deceit concerning gospel music in church. One well known gospel group, out of Tennessee, performs in many Christian churches only to learn the lead singer has done the sound track and is featured in a movie called “Bell Witch.” "The Bell Witch or Bell Witch Haunting is a poltergeist legend from Southern United States folklore, involving the Bell family of Adams, Tennessee. The legend is the basis of the films The Bell Witch Haunting (2004) and An American Haunting (2006 and is said to have inspired the Blair Witch Project."
