Thanks Mourner for the clarification.

Yes, I guess that was pretty cryptic once I read it and realized some of you guys don't really know me very well. I am a foster parent and have had many children in our home, not my biological children. Right now, I have 6 children in my home, one son, and 5 foster children. I'll try to remember my audience in the future.
Sorry nat.

I do love children, they bring such joy to our home. Now I'm starting to have grand children, 2 girls and 2 boys. They are amazing!

Sorry John, I'm really not much of a country music fan. My sister went and has pictures. She really enjoyed it.

When the Kentucky legislature comes back into session in January 2016, they are going to pass a law and put marriage license on line. You simply go on line, fill out the forms, pay your fee, print it all out and sign the dotted line. Then, by the magic of the INTERNET, it's no ones fault. No one to blame. No sin has been committed because it's automatic.

Perhaps, if I may,I can shed some light on this subject. I too am a registered democrat, here in KY. There are more democrats in KY than republicans. We tend to vote republican in the national elections mostly. However, the democratic party in Kentucky still has many conservatives. That too, however, is changing.

And yes, according to some on SA, I can not be a Christian. However, I love the Lord with all my heart, and Jesus is my savior.

Good Comments Chris, I always enjoy reading your comments. I think the problems we are seeing in our lifetime, in part, is the prevalence of mis-information on the internet. People get some really ridiculous ideas from the internet.
And I think since Christians started concentrating on what we are against instead of showing the love of our Savior through the gospel, the stuff that we actually support and believe.

It's not a sin to give marriage license to same sex couples. Using this premise, EVERY soldier that killed in Afghanistan and Iraq are guilty of the sin of murder. Same sex or homo-sexual marriage is a sin, we all know that. But, it's the law of the land. It's our job to get it changed. However, considering the success we've had with the abortion front, I'm not holding my breath.

Believe it or not Wow, there used to be some very edifying discussions on SA. However, in the last year or so it's gotten a bit nasty and bullying has become the standard. I quit commenting so much because of this very thing. Stick around, it does get better!!!

Well, I'd like to weigh in on this subject, as it is near and dear to my heart! Let me start off by saying I have grown to love most people on here, even though we have never met. Mike from NY, Christopher, Jim from Lincoln, Penny and my personal favorite, John of the UK.

My son developed autism when he was 2. Before, he was a healthy beautiful little red haired boy that was developing typically. We took him to his pediatric appointment in September and had them give him the flu vaccine. It was filled with mercury. With in the month he had stopped talking, looking at us and sleeping. We spent the most miserable 6 months of our life getting things lined out for him.
He still gets therapy weekly and he talks now. He even goes to some typical classes at school. I love my son with all my heart!!! I'm not educated enough in theology to know if this happened because of our actions or is this something God placed before us. I know that my son is a true and perfect gift from God and I'm thankful for the path. I'm sorry to all for the long post. Just wanted to get this out there.

Oh yes, Trevor has not gotten any more shots since his diagnoses. And he never will. That's MY call!!!

I served the U.S. Army back during the Reagan years (1984-1990) and we weren't armed then either. Only the civilian authorities on post and the MP's had arms. Even the gate guards had no ammo.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Brother Harris, I really enjoyed this episode of your news in focus. Thank you. I have for a long time felt the confederate flag offensive in nature. Perhaps, once it was the symbol of southern pride. But, it's been hijacked by hate groups and over time has evolved into a symbol of hatred. I forget the name of the young man with you on the program, but he said don't let the flag cover up your light. that, atleast to me, was a very important take away to the program. It makes me re-evaluate my thinking in how i appear to my brothers and sister in Christ and to the world looking at me. Am I reflect Christ or the world. Thank you so much. You guys knocked it out of the park with this one!!!
