Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2Verses 1-3: This falling away is not of unbelievers, but of the believers in Christ! Verses 6-8: The Church, those who stand fast, are those who are withholding the “Antichrist”; that is, until they be taken out of the way. Verses 10-12: The UNbelievers received not the love of the truth and will be damned! What is love? Some say God is love…and this is true; however, (and this Baptist university needs to take heed), ...LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW! (Romans 13:10); that is, teaching the TRUTH of God’s Word and NOT WAVERING! Even if it does offend those who are perishing. Verse 15: God’s Word NEVER changes! It is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow! Verse 17: Stablish you in every good word and work by fulfilling the law, for this is LOVE! Love is warning those who are perishing even if they do hate you for it. Jesus warned us, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” John 15:18 This Baptist University may grow in numbers (membership), however, what good is it if they are still lost because they received not the Word of Truth, which is the fulfilling of the law? The apostasy (falling away) is here! |

John Yurich, please! You said, "The Episcopal Church is really sinking into the abyss rapidly... At least the Catholic Church is against homosexuality."Really? Give me a break! Where's the outcry over molestation of young boys that has been going on since the beginning of Catholisism? Beside that, it would behoove you to do a study on this parable from Jesus concerning PRIDE! Luke 18:9-14 (KJB) And he spake this parable unto certain which TRUSTED IN THEMSELVES THAT THEY WERE RIGHTEOUS, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, GOD, I THANK THEE, THAT I AM NOT AS OTHER MEN ARE, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. Please be more careful with your words; you might just be condemning yourself. |

Here is a list of verses for the NIV and ESV users to look up: Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 23:14; Mark 7:16, 9:44, 46, 11:26, 15:28; Luke 17:36, 23:17; John 5:3-4; Acts 8:37, 15:34, 24:7, 28:29; Romans 16:24; and 1 John 5:7-8. (Trust me, it won’t take you long). Here are other verses that have been altered (corrupted) by the NIV and ESV: Matthew 6:13, 15:8, 19:17, 20:7, 16, 22: Mark 6:11, 10:21; Luke 1:28, 4:4, 8, 18, 11:2-4; John 1:27, 3:13, 15; 11:41; 16:16; Acts 10:6, 15:18, 20:24; and Romans 8:1, 13:9. The KJB has been God’s Word in ‘English’ since 1611 (unchanged)! All other perversions came on the scene after Westcott and Hort (A.D.1881) corrupted God’s Word with their liberal ideology doing Satan’s work for him…”Yea, hath God said…”. Here’s one for the NIV readers (and ESV); The KJB says in Isaiah 14:12 that ‘Lucifer’ was cast out of heaven for his pride. He repeated “I will” five times (v.13-14), then in verse 15 it says, “Yet thou shalt be brought down to HELL,…” However, the NIV says here that the ‘Morning Star’ is the one cast out of heaven and into hell. WAIT A MINUTE! Revelation 2:28 says (Jesus speaking here), “And I will give him the morning star.” Is the NIV saying that Jesus will give them Lucifer? I KNOW NOT! Again in Revelation 22:16, Jesus again speaking says, “I…I am…the bright and morning star.” The NIV proves itself in error in Isaiah 14:12 by not mentioning Lucifer (Satan), and referring to him as the ‘morning star’, who IS Jesus (Revelation 22:16)! |
