SteveR wrote: Other than floating changing our 501c3 status, I campaigned our Synod to require head coverings for women. If you get a chance, read Calvins exhortations on this as it sounds similar to what you heard. Calvin correctly anticipates the downfall of sexual morality beginning with head coverings for women to uncovered ankles, cleavage, belly buttons etc... I do agree the covering issue is a component of the problem. Women started cutting off their glory in the 20's and is a component of the androgynous mixing of the genders, which is a part of the rise in sodomy. In my understanding of this issue, the head covering for a woman is long, glorious, hair. I do not concur with the premise that a woman's covering ought to be covered by a cloth covering. This is not to say they should not wear a bonnet etc due to physical necessity but I do not believe it to be a spiritual necessity. 1 Corinthians 11:15 - But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. |

Mike wrote: Unfortunately, the only thing continuing to use the word sodomy for 2000 yrs has demonstrated, is that using it isn't working. How many who are not Christian even know what it means anymore? It is no longer part of the language. ... How many who are Christians don't even know what this word means? It's no longer part of the language because the Bible is no longer part of their lives. Folks familiarizing themselves with the definition of this Bible word might find themselves familiarizing themselves with the judgment of the city named after this behavior. Perhaps too, folks will start familiarizing themselves with the words that lead to sodomy such as lasciviousness. The old time preachers at the turn of the 20th century warned women showing their ankles would lead to women showing their calves which would lead to the showing of the thigh which would lead to fornication and adultery which would lead to sodomy which would lead to pedophilia to bestiality and finally cannabalism. We are in the later stages of this process. These preachers were able to warn because they had an understanding of the Holy Bible, people would hear the warning if they reacquainted themselves with the same Holy Bible these preachers had. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Just about to take off, Rufus, but I'll comment on your comment. Actually many of these police officers --who aren't Catholic-- are fundamentalists. We have one or two in the law profession attending IHCC, so they'll know better, anyway. Jim Lincoln wrote: No, Chris, they hate the White side of him. but that is beside the point. They are warning against fundamentalists who do. |

Christopher000 wrote: Boy, peoples minds just seem to be snapping and going haywire more and more lately. For me, I always come back to God being erased from the schools and society as a whole. That combined with the children being taught that we simply evolved from apes, and that when we die, it's just lights out...oblivion, they have been taught hopelessness, and empathy is quickly becoming extinct. Add to this the use of licit and illicit drugs including psychotropics prescribed by today's witchdoctors and the monkey see, monkey do effect of Hollywood's visual training. |

joe lee wrote: ... It is government sanctioned sodomy. That is the word the Bible uses. Are Christians ashamed of this Biblical word? Excellent post and I wholeheartedly agree. To add to your comments, the word "sodomite" is found in the Holy Bible aka Authorized Version aka King James Bible. The modern Christians read from bibles that do not contain that Biblical word. |

John Yurich USA wrote: ... Jesus as God then I don't believe he should have raised any children in those religions. The RCC does not have anything in common with Islam, JW's, Mormonism or any other religion that does not worship Jesus as God because the RCC has always worshipped Jesus as God. It's another Jesus, another gospel and another church. The Roman Catholic Jesus is effeminate with long hair and has no brothers. You will not find that Jesus in the Holy Bible. The Roman Catholic gospel requires keeping sacraments for eternal salvation. The gospel of the Holy Bible requires only belief in the shed blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins for eternal salvation (the RC says folks who believe like this should be anathema). The Holy Bible describes Rome as a whore for it is a false bride or a false church. This church commits physical and spiritual fornication as it is drunk on the wine of her fornication. Further, all the other false religions have much in common with the whore for they are her daughters. You can see this manifesting itself with the Fatima Hajs and RC pilgrimages etc. and you can see this as all her antichrist daughters are returning to their harlot mother and that mother opens her arms to them. |

John Yurich USA wrote: I am not practicing sin if I don't participate in the unscriptural parts to the Mass and only participate in the scriptural parts to the Mass. You are in blatant, unrepentant sin if you have anything to do with that whore when you are supposed to be part of the bride. This is particularly acute for you considering all the times, all the different angles and the many years you have been admonished regarding this. |

Christopher000 wrote: ... Interesting. Do they view Christians to be a potential militant force to be reckoned with in the future, or, are Christians considered a threat because they will continue attempting to keep Biblical Christianity alive in America? The SPLC and the leadership of the United States military are yoked up with the Kingdom of Satan. Christians are a threat to their Kingdom for it is Christians under the leadership of Jesus Christ who will overthrow Satan's Kingdom and bring forth the Kingdom of God. Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Faithful Christians therefore represent a current and future threat to these powers. |

SteveR wrote: Thank you for the honest answer If the Garden of Gethsemane was in Texas, that servant of the High Priest would have lost more than an ear though As with all things it is important to understand God's timing and circumstances in each given situation. Clearly, there is a time for martyrdom as demonstrated by Stephen and others. Clearly, there is a time to put up thy sword as in the garden. Yet, there is a time to buy a sword a time to bear the sword and I believe a time to use the sword. What's the right play? If some gentleman comes into a church with a gun and yells Ally, Ally, Admiral Akhbar and threatens to put a bullet in a brother or a sister or their children. Does a strong, Christian, man duck under the pew, reach for his cell phone or defend the innocent? |
