“ The Church ” What you stated in your talking is exactly what the problem with the church is today and has been for so very long. The church is not and will never be a building, the building is not a "sanctuary" and will never be, the church forever and only will consist of true believers in Christ, in his atoning work for our sins.He dwells in our hearts and we are his sanctuary. Eph 3:16 As for drums and music and all the other frills God needs none of this from our hands. The songs that should be known among beleivers are the Psalms that God already has provided because they (everyone of them) point to Christ. I would say that almost every gathering has forsaken Christ and set up indvidual men with their thoughts on the bible. Most don't even know who Christ really is. Christ is God Almighty, He is the LORD of Glory and He is the only one we will see in Glory!The work of God is to believe in Christ and follow Him.
Its just like saying God Bless the Thrid. Reich. As the trains went by full of Jews the Christians of Germany sat in their comfortable pews and sang songs to God. In America every day people are driving right by these clinics where torture and murder is taking place!
