“ Calvinism vs Fatalism ”
A lot better the second time through. Missed some of the bigger points due to my kiddos distracting me. Good points on why Calvinism is not fatalism, and how God uses means. Exposed mysin of idolizing those means over Christ at the end. I have to be on guard for that. Thank you for your labors!

Voice Up About Abortion
Tony Miano

“ Response ”
Paul16135 - Everyone has the right and obligation to speak the truth regarding abortion. It is murder, and murder has nothing to do with a woman's "rights," but everything to do with the right to life of the child. God has made clear in His Word that murder is sin, therefore we have a moral obligation to stand for the rights of the unborn.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
Correction, then, Ron Paul is an isolationist. It is rather obvious that Ron Paul does not follow the thinking of the Founding Fathers, q.v., ]]The Ideology of Isolationism.
We should be ready to help our allies such as Israel, not only in deed but in word, it can be shown that Ron Paul, doesn't – ]]Video: Ron Paul denounces Israel’s flotilla raid, of course.
Jim, Ron Paul is clearly not an isolationist. He is a non-interventionist. I'm a Ron Paul voter. What he wants to do is stay out of the Sovereignty of other nations. Israel is FULLY capable of defending itself if it feels threatened, and it does act. How would we like it if a neighboring country had was doing to us. Do you think we want an outside country telling us what to do and how to react to such threats.

Non-interventionism – Says that political rulers should avoid entangling alliances with other nations and avoid all wars not related to direct territorial differences (self-defense).

“ Excellent! ”
... an excellent job in giving historical context to the pericope and exhorting us to look deeper into what Paul is trying to say about being under the Lordship of Christ. I did a lot of work in college in New Testament studies so I appreciate his careful attention to Paul's words.

As someone who grew up always amongst youthful peers in a 'church' severely lacking the three marks, I couldn't agree more.

Here is a YouTube video that helpfully illustrates this "youth group" and "niche marketing" concept further:

The koran is not the word of God. It is a pagan book full of twisted Bible storys that was designed to gain political power by the false prophet Muhammad (hell fire is upon him).

This mp3 is too long for the little information the presenter gives. Mostly due to the fact he repeats most sentences which gets repedative. But the news he gives i believe is good to be aware of

Before Christ had saved me I had listened to a lot of rap. I grew up with it in my house and it's the form of music that I had enjoyed. When Christ had saved me I could no longer listen to worldly lyrics that were in tge rap genre. Every concept in them was foul an disgusting and revolted me. I, then, started listening to some of the Christian alternative and rock bands which had plenty of worship but sometimes conflicted with what I knew to be theologically correct. I had discovered a little later about Christian rap and artists like Lecrae who had a natural talent to rap but also had deep theological meaning. I listen to Christian rap primarily. It doesnt take away or substitute for my quiet time. It doesnt substitute for prayer and it certainly doesnt substitute for the Bible. If we examined every kind of music genre out there im certain you will find that worldly things such as the concept of killing, drug and alcohol using, sex, etc. Were used in them at some point. Does that mean we shouldnt use that genre to worship and reach out?

It's time to skip McDonalds if I'm looking for fast food. Tough the company is not led by those with morals, yet perhaps if they begin to feel how their radical agenda is hurting their business, then maybe they shut down this evil kind of commercial. We also need to contact McD to let them know we are boycotting them.
